What an amazing little gem of a restaurant. Food, atmosphere and service were all overwhelmingly good! I had the Jerusalem plate, a terrific selection of appetizers that was just perfect as a meal: a spinach pie whose filling was the exact amount of tart you want from sumac surrounded by crispy-soft pastry, a satisfying pile of hummus surrounded by cucumbers, two perfect falafels and crispy zaatar-dusted pita chips for dipping and textural contrast! I asked for tahini and cucumber yogurt sauce an polished the entire plate. The hibiscus tea was also perfect and refreshing. The cafe had a great free live band the night I was there: super interesting, jazz standards with a pedal steel player thrown into the mix. I can’t say enough about how friendly the owner and staff were. I felt right at home and deeply cared for. Don’t miss this place if you are in Greensboro!

Everything was pretty good. I wish they had traditional pita rather than a thin wrap; my falafel wrap was not the way they made it in Jerusalem which used a fluffy pita. It tasted good and the portions were fairly generous for the price (2 meals w/drinks for about $35). My partner highly enjoyed his chicken shwarma wrap, which they often have as a special on the weekends.

I’m new to GSO downtown and I’ve been searching for good middle eastern food. This place is phenomenal on a whole new level. You can tell how much pride this family has in their father, their restaurant, and their food. The food was so fresh and delicious. The price was very reasonable as well. They got a new regular today hands down.

Such a gem downtown! Love all of the vegan options! Food is a little pricey but you can tell how much care went into it. Owner and staff really seem to care about customers and their experience. The outside patio is lovely on a nice day.

Fantastic, flavorful Mediterranean food, my wife and I lucked out on a night a bad was playing to make an upbeat, festive experience. Two choices of pita with the hummus, my wife had a salad and chicken plate, I had a lamb platter – all were exceptionally seasoned and flavorful, next level above your good Mediterranean food. Jerusalem Market is a curio of authentic middle eastern maps and artifacts which adorn the restaurant. Staff were happy and smiling throughout, prompt and attentive.

A stop from Jerusalem Market is part of our annual road trip; every time we’ve been there it has been delicious but this stop was our best yet!

We got the shawarma wrap and falafel wrap, and both were delicious and cooked to order. The falafel was a highlight, fried freshly and featuring lots of flavor. Recommend getting hot sauce with the wraps, either mixed in or on the side.

The hibiscus tea is a necessary add-on to the meal, either sweetened or unsweetened it had depth to its flavor.

The gentleman working the front of house was knowledgeable and welcoming. Food came out fast and fresh. The atmosphere is casual no-frills but still enjoyable; we did notice they have high chairs and a booster seat, and several tables that could accommodate families.
