I ordered a small soup today on my lunch break, I open the soup and getting ready to take a spoonful, little did I know this was what I’d be met with. Go inside to let them know, and the lady in the back wants to tell me it’s a thyme leaf, this looks nothing like a thyme leaf. I’ve lost my appetite. Absolutely disgusting!

I’m writing because I’m very disappointed with the experience I had today during my lunch break.
I only get an hour break , and it took almost 25–30 minutes just for someone to get to me for a quick lunch special. What made it more frustrating was that the staff in the front were standing around talking while customers were waiting. When I was finally helped, the attitude I received was not welcoming at all. On top of that, I was told I couldn’t purchase an item I was fully willing to pay for, and the explanation didn’t make sense.
I understand places get busy, but professionalism and basic customer service shouldn’t go out the window. Having to wait that long during a limited lunch break — while feeling like an inconvenience — is not okay.
I just wanted to bring this to your attention because the environment today was not good, and it definitely left a bad impression.

I was at a spot next door waiting to go have some caribbean food afterwards and the closing times are falsely stated on the door or the place closed early. bad business.

This specific restaurant never has jerk pork… ever. I have tried multiple different times in the day to come and they don’t have it. They say come early because they open at 7:30 am and you go there at that time and they say come later like 11:30. I come at noon and they don’t have it. What you going to tell me they run out of jerk pork in 30 minutes? I come at night and they don’t have it. I just got off the phone with one of the workers there just a minute ago and they still don’t have jerk pork. If you not selling the jerk pork take the stupid item off the menu.

I ordered a meal that normally comes with vegetables, but I was not told they were unavailable. The food was packed to-go with mostly rice and no vegetables, yet I was still charged full price.
If certain items are unavailable near closing time, customers should be informed before the food is prepared and charged. The service felt rushed and unprofessional, which is disappointing because I usually expect better.
I hope management addresses this, as it affects the overall customer experience. I want to say one of the employees who works as long term cashier she was so rude ! I wish she could told me before I order there is no veg!

Today, I ordered a brown stew lunch special, and it was truly disgusting and too spicy. The meat was hard and dry. No taste for the Rice and beans. Donna’s used to be good, worth the money for the quality of food they give but after several attempts coming here, needless to say that they are just going down hill. Never again coming here.

Just left today 7:00pm.12/26/2025 and the ladies were rude and served me cold chicken soup. I only purchased it becauae someone requested chicken soup and their competitor Dutxh Pot was serving goat head. The ladies there took a minute to even get up and acknowledge i was there … one half washed her hands and looked annoyed as she fixed the soup. Then I had to wait ……. while she fixed the other customers (because a line was forming) food before someone else decided to come ring me up. Just overall poor service and the person I brought the “prepared” soup for had to get a pot and REwarm it when it was bought so that could just sit and eat because they were sick

I spent $30 on curry goat pay extra for saying cabbage but didn’t get any plankton. It’s always something missing here. That’s why it’s best not to order delivery. They purposely leave food out cause I know you’re not gonna drive there because you got delivery. don’t order delivery at this place. They purposely leave food out cause they know you’re not gonna come and give them a hassle to get your stuff. I just spent $30 on food, but they left out my plankton when I paid extra for the third side and they gave me one festival for five dollars this place is trying to make and save money off of delivery orders
