New spot in Hawthorne. Let’s say it is worth a stop and try the food. Service is great. Atmosphere is wonderful and the music trends.
Wow, Luv Ramen & BBQ has truly solidified its place as one of my favorite spots! This was my second visit, and it was just as wonderful, if not more so, than the first. It’s always a great sign when a restaurant is consistently excellent, and this place delivers.
The ramen is simply sublime. The broth is incredibly deep and flavorful, a testament to the quality and care that goes into it. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and all the toppings were fresh and delicious. We also indulged in some of their BBQ, which was smoky, tender, and seasoned perfectly.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was just as friendly and attentive as I remembered. You can really feel the passion they have for their food. Luv Ramen & BBQ is a true gem, and I’m already looking forward to my third visit! Highly, highly recommend!

First time here and was very happy with the experience. The server was very friendly and attentive. Food came out pretty fast. Party of 5 and we were all very happy with our meals.
I got the spicy vegan Ramen. It wasn’t really that spicy but still very very good. Excellent actually. I’m craving it again already. Spinach noodles, fresh and lightly fried tofu, other veggies, creamy (yet vegan) broth with nice depth of flavor.
The Yummy Chicken fried rice was delicious. We devoured it.
Kids got chicken Ramen. Great that they had a kids menu! They loved it.
Shrimp tempura was on point. A little greasy but excellent flavor and crunch.
Tonkotsu Ramen with shrimp was delicious.
The prices are very reasonable. And I appreciated how they treated a lady who was dining near us who was clearly either very poor or possibly unhoused. She was respectful and enjoying her food and they tended to her just like a regular customer. Good job Luv Ramen.
We’ll be back!

I go to this place all the time. The food is always fresh. I’m not sure if they changed chefs or what. First the chicken didn’t look like chicken, it was dark grey on the inside. The meat was too rubbery to even chew. I’m highly pissed, especially since they went up on their prices. How do you call yourself raising the prices of your food, but start serving garbage.

First time trying Luv Ramen & BBQ! My mom ordered the shrimp stir-fried ramen, I had the shin black garlic tonkatsu ramen, and we shared an appetizer of juicy bao pork buns. I really advise you to try those out! Everything was delicious! The wait time is moderate (15-20 mins), but only because the kitchen prepares everything fresh. Food came out all at the same time, too! Cozy atmosphere 🙂 I recommend sitting by the door if you prefer a nice breeze and sunlight shining upon you and your food (makes it look extra “photo-worthy”, hehe). The server was amicable and thanked us on the way out. For two people who had an appetizer, one bowl of ramen (broth type), and a stir-fried dish, the total was 45 dollars. Not entirely bad! Anywhere else, like Santa Monica or Gardena, would have probably cost more.

Food was amazing, prolly some of the best ramen I’ve had in a while. Was kinda empty when I went, this place deserves so much more recognition!

Walked into the restaurant and immediately noticed clutter — boxes and can cases lying near one of the long side tables, which didn’t make for the cleanest first impression. We ordered three ramen bowls, and while they had a section labeled “vegetables,” the ramen menu was unclear — one of the options had “Tori” in the name (which usually refers to chicken), yet the staff said it was vegan. That kind of contradiction makes it hard for vegetarians and vegans to feel confident ordering.
We ordered the soy broth ramen as that seemed like the safest option. Food took a while to come. And when it did – That itself was disappointing — no developed flavor, it tasted like salty soy sauce mixed with hot water. I’ve had many ramen bowls elsewhere, and this one just left a lingering salty taste in my mouth. I gave up eating a fourth way in.
There were also communication issues with the server + After a long wait, we eventually we had to go up to the counter ourselves to pay. They’ve set up an 18–25% tip range on their system, and unless you click “custom,” you’re funneled into tipping within that range by default — something to be aware of.
Not the worst dining experience I’ve had, but between the unclear menu, underwhelming flavors, and awkward service, I wouldn’t come back or recommend it — especially for vegetarians or vegans.

I Love Ramen, and the Christmas atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic! I really like it here; they also have special lunch sets, so I come here often!

New place that opened up in the neighborhood in mid June. I personally prefer the portions in the bowl (labelled ‘don’) instead of the plate. Slightly more expensive than the Waba Grill in the other side of the plaza, but overall better in quality and taste. Also, I think the bowl size was pretty decent! Hefty for sure. It’s been too hot to try the ramen- maybe once the heat dies down I’ll try it! Definitely recommend. They also have tofu plate/bowl items as well for those that don’t eat meat. Veggie tempura as well (veggie ramen listed but haven’t tried it)

Today in the am we arrived at 11 am with my wife for the first time at luv ramen . Atmosphere was clean and good vibes and the waiter was nice We ordered a bento box , beef and chicken meat was good gyozas were fresh and crispy , crispy tofu was mac salad was good to , now the rice felt like it was left over rice from the previous day , yoh know that rice that you have in the refrigerator from the previous day and you take it out and warm it up real qucik and it gets a lil hard kind of fast , you can tell it was not fresh rice , if it would have been fresh rice from the pot the food wouldve gotten a 5 out of 5 stars . But you know what they say , you cant have it all ! Will be returning soon , the rice wont keep me away !

The yaki ramen offers a taste of comfort, smoky and tender in its simplicity. The warm space and kindhearted service remind you that to live well is to savor the present, and to love is to share that warmth with those around you.
