I’ve been coming here for years and they’ve never let me down. Service is consistently kind, everything is fresh, and you can tell they care about the details. Today’s standout was the chicken noodle soup. The touch of dill took it from good to unforgettable. It’s easily the best soup I’ve ever had. If you’re on the fence, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. Highly recommended.

My wife and I have been meaning to try them for weeks, but my work schedule has made it hard to get there. Needless to say it was worth the wait.

It’s not often I 5 star a restaurant/deli. This one was earned. The staff were super friendly. I had the pastrami sandwich and it’s the best I’ve had since the one I had at Carnegie Deli in NYC several years ago. The sides were also very good. Pricing was higher than average, but I’m very willing to pay it considering the staff and quality of the product produced. Well done!

Fatty Lumpkins is hands down one of the best lunch spots in Muskegon! We tried the K.C.’s Kickin’ Chicken and the Hammy Some Salami, and both sandwiches were incredible.
The Kickin’ Chicken had just the right amount of spice with the buffalo chicken, provolone, and veggies balanced perfectly by the creamy ranch—flavorful without being overwhelming. The Hammy Some Salami was stacked with quality meats, fresh toppings, and a great crunch from the peppers and onion. Both came on fresh bread that really made the sandwiches stand out.
The portions were generous, prices were fair, and you can tell everything is made with care. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and service was fast and friendly. If you’re looking for a fresh, delicious sandwich in Muskegon, Fatty Lumpkins is the place to go.

My son and I had the Fatty, my wife had the Italian and it has been by far the best sandwiches we’ve ever had. A local recommended the place to us and they were spot on the money with this place. Highly recommend and the staff were super awesome as well.

I recently watched some great reviews of Fatty Lumpkins, decided to visit and they definitely lived up to those reviews!
They have a couple smaller buildings and are located kind of on the edge of where residential meets commercial which automatically gave it a more homey feel to it. The owners and staff are quite friendly and engaging with customers and the menu was a bit more focused on doing a few things and doing them well…. at least based off the food I ordered!
I highly recommend this place if you’re ever in Muskegon and looking for a locally owned establishment
