This is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE place to get Mediterranean food. It is also the only place I eat the gyro meat. In the 20 minutes I sat in the restaurant the owner greeted everyone and mentioned at least 5 of them by name. You can’t beat a place like this. Every time I’m in town I stop here. Can’t wait to come back!

Hidden gem. One of the best gyro platters I’ve had, thick cuts of meat, warm rice, excellent hummus and tzatziki. All fresh made there.

Not on your 66 but worth the detour if you are hungry. This place had foot traffic and seemed to be a hit with the locals. The owners and staff seemed to know a lot of people that came in.
The bread was baked fresh, and you could tell how soft it was. The small is the perfect size for kids and adults.
The gyros were fresh, and the hummus and tubbolie were made that morning as you could taste the freshness. Make sure to detour of your rout 66 travels to eat here.

The owners are really friendly, and the food is really fresh and delicious. We tried the gyro sandwich and the baklava and they were both really really good. Prices were super reasonable. Very clean establishment.

This is my favorite sandwich shop, they have much more than just sandwiches also, the owners and staff are some of the best people I’ve ever met, the food is delicious, I’ve tried almost everything on their menu, and a few things that aren’t on the menu. If you’re anywhere near the Catoosa Deli, do yourself a favor, stop by and give them a try, you probably won’t regret it, and you’ll probably never eat subway again

I ordered the gyro sandwich and it was amazing! The flavor was delicious bread was fresh and the owners were so kind. I will definitely make the drive back to try more of the menu as I was craving a sub but instantly changed my mind when we walked in, the Philly steak on the wheat bread was also delicious.

We discovered this place as we were traveling West on Route 66 three years ago, and today we arranged our travel through the area so we could eat here again. It’s that good. We get the Greek food options, specifically the gyro sandwich and the gyro platter. The puta bread is made-house and is wonderfully fresh and tender. ALL the ingredients are fresh and delicious. What really makes the Catoosa Deli special is the family who own and operate it. They are the friendliest, warmest people who really love their customers and are committed to providing the best food. Be sure to try the homemade baklava: it’s the real deal–and I grew up with Greek neighbors who baked for us, so I know!

Stopped in on a whim today and I was so happy we did! The food was authentic, fresh, and so delicious. The deli is run by the sweetest folks you will ever meet and you can tell they put a lot of love into their food. The baklava in particular was some of the best I’ve had in a really long time. I will absolutely be back!

Stop and read this. Omar and Tahani run this awesome just a bit off the path Mediterranean Food and Sandwich Shop. Better service or food can not be found in the Tulsa area. Be sure to try the gyro platter, stuffed grape leaves, and the baklava. We left feeling like family. It was such a refreshing stop on our road trip. We look forward to next time.
