Some friends, my son and I went for the first time today. The atmosphere was great. Great lighting. Clean bathrooms. We tried one of the special sushi and also a spicy tuna roll. We enjoyed the habachi fillet and shrimp, fillet with chicken and the chicken. The warm chick broth soup was delicious. I was not a big fan of the ginger dressing but my friends enjoyed the ranch on their salad. My son was not a fan of the sauteed noodles but he really enjoyed the veggies and shrimp that was on top. He enjoyed eating off my plate.
Our waitress was very helpful with navigating the menu, telling us about the specials, and some of the popular picks.
I was surprised at the price for how much food comes on the plate. We took 2 plates of left overs home.

I’ve been to this sushi spot twice now, and both times were genuinely great experiences. The atmosphere is super calm and relaxing — perfect for a quiet meal or a chill night out. The sushi itself is delicious and feels really fresh. Every roll I’ve tried has been flavorful and well-made, and the presentation is always clean and inviting.

We had such a great experience at Tokyo in Toccoa, Georgia! Our server, Jasmine, was absolutely fantastic. She took such good care of us—friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time.
I ordered the Lava Roll sushi special, and it was amazing—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. My boyfriend had the steak and shrimp hibachi, and it was cooked perfectly. Everything tasted delicious.
From the food to the service, the whole visit was wonderful. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend Tokyo if you’re looking for great hibachi, sushi, and excellent service.

Went here with my mom because the hibachi place we usually go to wasn’t open yet. I got sushi, my mom got hibachi salmon. The sushi and sashimi are fresh and better than I was anticipating for the price. My mom is especially happy with the price and quality of the salmon. Solid place, definitely recommend.

Finally! A *good* sushi restaurant in Toccoa. This place is new so it’s still clean. The inside is very stylish and there’s a cute robot greeter/server as you walk inside. The robot can dance too.
The food tasted fresh and delicious. Service was fast. The only drawback is prices are a bit high and sushi rolls are smaller than other restaurants. Looks like this place has lunch specials so definitely will return.

Worst fried rice I have ever had tasted like a grill brick or metal brush, no seasoning on the steak just flesh, veggies way to over soy sauced. It was like if it wasn’t cooked enough it was very powering. The soup flavor less. Lots to be desired for the price. Asian house is way better.

Great sushi and pricing. The roll was a little small but we also split some chicken fried rice. $35 total for dinner for a sit down place was not bad at all! We will be back and I’ll be ordering lunch takeout in the future!

Toccoa’s first legit Japanese spot….LFG! Tried 3 sushi roles, hibachi, an appetizer and Japanese beer and everything was delicious. Surpassed my expectations completely!
