Food is okay. Not horrible, but you can tell the burgers are cheap frozen patties. The fries are good though. Philly cheesesteak had very little flavor. The server wasn’t rude, but not very friendly either. I ran out of drink and the server had only come by once (shortly after bringing out the food and long before I ran out of drink). There was only a group of 4, my family of 3, and a dad and kid there. So it wasn’t busy at all. The decor is pretty neat, but the sugar dispenser and mustard do not have any lids. We were told to seat ourselves and then the table we sat ourselves at was broken. Which the server told us, but there was no sign. This is a cash only place. Menu is minimal and food is served on paper plates. Only the men’s bathroom was open. Women’s was out of order. It was filthy, smelled awful, and had no toilet paper. Prices aren’t bad, but its cheap for a reason, and the charge for ranch.

Awesome food at this classic small diner. I had the Devner omelet with country gravy and hash browns and it was all fantastic, but the real winner was the buttered white toast. It was the best I’ve ever had.

We came to have breakfast in the morning. This place was recommended both by google and by the local hotel where we stayed over night.
The peace was easy to find. It was nicely decorated for Christmas, there is a large parking in-front of it.
Inside, there were some customers but no large queue. We took an available table, we could order in 5-10 minutes once the waitress came to us. We decided to go for standard breakfast : one omelette with ham (Denver omelette) and two eggs with sausage, also coffee.
The food arrived fast, everything was tasty and freshly cooked. We liked the taste, the portion was big, we could hardly finish it (but we are not big eaters in the morning). We paid around 25 usd for everything, notice that it is cash only.
Overall the place is nice and cozy, although a bit old-fashioned and it’s charming. The atmosphere was friendly and pleasant. Perhaps what could be improved: it would be nice to have fresh milk for coffee, also less waste (the plates were of paper) and would be great to be able to sort food remainings from other trash.
This place can definitely be recommended.

You know, I travel back and forth through this part of the state quite often and I can honestly say I missed this place probably every time I drive through Betty, my business partner actually saw it and we stopped since we had a early stop. I’m really glad we did, this place was great. I had the steak and eggs and it was only $11. The quality was great for the price and we were treated very well. It actually got really busy while we were there so it must be a popular spot in town. Awesome stop, check it out if your driving through

Unfortunately our burgers were inedible. As someone else said, I think thepatties had been frozen WAYto long and had a , not spoiled, just a foul taste. The womens room aeems to be closed permanently, and the mens room is absolutely discusting; Unuseable by women. Said. to say, we have enjoyed eating here before but we’re done now.

Food was quick, cheap and delicious. Portion sizes were great for the price. The service was fantastic. The woman helping us was sweet, smiley and so helpful. We love her! Decor was fitting. Would definitely come back if in the area.

Amazing food and very friendly atmosphere. Located perfectly before the start of Death Valley park. Great service and cheap prices. Cash only place. But tasty and fresh and worth the experience of the true diner feel. Go for it.
