The employees were nice and it’s a cute atmosphere, but Thai Tea should not be a menu option I don’t know why I was expecting authentic or even bare minimum average Thai Tea from a small town cafe, but I thought the worst it could be is a lil watered down, but it’s basically just unsweet tea with orange dye, so I was sad. My friend got the Man Flu and really didn’t like it, but she may give the place another try. In summary, please take Thai Tea off the menu or get instant packets from a local asian business.

Jessica and Shelby are absolutely the best in the business. Both are friendly as you walk in the door. They know what their customers like and can make you drinks you love even if they aren’t on the menu! Highly recommend getting you caffeine boost here!

Absolutely worth the 10 minute detour off of I80….found this Gem of a coffee shop during our travels! Service was great, cozy and chic decor. The coffee is absolutely delicious.
I ordered the “Canadian” (cold) and my wife ordered the “Montreal” (hot) both delicious!!! The barista was super friendly (I forgot to ask their name)!
They get their coffee from a local roaster!!! If you enjoy a good coffee, you won’t regret the short drive over, my only regret is we came through too early to get to experience any other shops or businesses in this charming little town.

Worth the 5 min detour off i80! My husband and I stopped while traveling for the holidays. I had a hot brown sugar shaker and he had a bacon, sausage, egg and cheese croissant with the Amber coffee. Cheerful and quick service in a festive-ly decorated old building. They had a small stage and I can imagine listening to live music there in the intimate setting. My husband commented his drink was the perfect blend of chocolate and caramel. Also enjoyed the cups, which have a built in protective sleeve. Great experience!

I could see myself hanging here with a friend for an hour or two. Our trio of a fam stopped and got two coffees & two pastries and an applesauce pouch. I ordered a specialty drink called the Montreal. The cinnamon hit just right on those first sips, making me long for fall!! And the fact that the specials are auto oat milk instead of an add on, it nice. My tummy thanks you! Fantastic coffee and tasty goodies in the case.
We usually stop here on our way out of town after visiting fam. We’ll continue stopping by! ☕️

I would love to change my review!
My husband and I found this place on Google and drove to Brooklyn specifically to try it out.
We got out of our truck in the pouring rain and ran up to the door only to find it locked with no one to be seen inside and no display for reason of closure. Online hours say they are open daily but they were not open at 10 a.m. on Saturday. I find it rude to not consider customers, or potential customers, and neglect to update information online. It was a waste of our time and gas.
Please, update your hours. I hope to change my review in the future.

I’m sorry, Owner, I cannot figure out how to respond to you so I’ll write it here. Unless you have more than one location, yes, we were at the right one, in Brooklyn, Iowa. We were there at 10:00 a.m. so according to you, the establishment should have been open, yet, the door was locked.

Found this little spot while traveling. Reasonably priced food that is good quality’s we all had a croissant sandwich well made. Personally I’d serve them in a different container cuz the plastic trapped in air/moisture and made the really delicious croissants soft. Still was great. Ordered two coffees the butter cow latte was very good. The grandstand macchiato is very sweet but good flavors. Mine was served with a straw. Typically I prefer to sip a machiatto from the top. My son played in the area and we enjoyed eating breakfast and enjoying our coffees on the couch. Teenage staff so the kind of service you expect from teenagers. The atmosphere is nice. Good decor choices. Would definitely come back and highly recommend!

I found this place on a whim with my wife. We both needed an extra boost in the morning a little while ago….. But I love this place the service is amazing the food and drinks are very refreshing and delicious. And it’s very cozy. I wish I could give 10 stars it’s like a 2nd home everything is reasonably priced. Definitely worth checking out.
