The place is clean, bright and has a pleasant atmosphere. The staff are friendly, kind and attentive. The food was delicious overall, especially the main dishes and appetizers. I did not really like the stuffed grape leaves but everything else was perfect. It was a nice experience and I’d love to visit again.

Ordered takeout and overall thought this place was decent. We ordered the chicken shawarma plate, kids gyro, lentil soup, and falafel.
The chicken shawarma was pretty good and came with salad and pita, not a huge serving but reasonable for $20. The kids gyro was tasty and good value. Lentil soup wasn’t anything special. Falafel was good but didn’t stand out

My friend asked me to meet him at Kalita for dinner and I enjoyed my lamb gyro. My craving for lamb and greek food did not go away so I came back on my own to enjoy more lamb as seen in my photo. I enjoyed my lamb souvlaki with the side salad. Service was attentive and warm. I appreciated seeing the clean open kitchen and the cozy dining area. If I’m back in Boulder, I would definitely go back.

Those fries were The Lamb Gyro was delicious, just needed a bit more sauce and seasoning. I definitely did not finish that meal, big portions. Completely satisfied!

I ordered the lamb plate, the taste was great, but it is hard to justify the price – roughly $23 for this extremely small portion.
It easily takes 2 of these entrees to fill an adult. I had to order a second, making the bill come to above $50 (with tax and tip), ultimately more expensive than an entree at a high-end Boulder restaurant.
Other plates on the menu varied from $19-$25 per plate. The price would be fine if they increased their portion size by 50-100%.
I hope this changes in the future, as they sure know how to cook!

The food is good, but honestly it’s a little overpriced and I could easily give this place four or five stars if I felt like the price was fair. Also get a new online ordering system, what you currently have is garbage and every time I try to get it to charge my card it just charges it without the order submitting, refunds it and makes it a big headache. I attempted to order four times today within the period of an hour until I just had to pay the extra fees to order it on doordash. Seriously the food is delicious but I can’t give you guys more than three stars with the experiences I’ve had

I think that sometimes I am too critical. But this place, for a cheap strip mall joint, is good. It’s not great, but I will still give it five stars for being good through all these tough years in the restaurant industry. The gyros is just lovely – tasty, freshly made, with a variety of textures and temperatures. I love how they wrap it so tightly. My gyros today was done in like 3 minutes and was delicious. Nice fresh tomatoes and real lettuce, not cheap iceberg leaves. Two pieces of homemade baklava for $3.99, how can you beat that? I have not tried many other items on the menu but this family-owned little hole-in-the-wall place can probably handle your typical Greek fast food. I would try the pulled lamb gyros if I didn’t like the regular one so much, only $1 more.

Highly recommend getting their combo plate. The chicken and gyro meat are delicious! This is by far my favorite place to go for a relaxing dinner. It’s so charming and the staff are welcoming.

Really one of the worst sandwich ever. Got the traditional gyro. Pita was stone cold, meat was like rubber and over dry in top and middle, over soggy at the bottom. The first 3/4 was so dry that when I asked for some extra Taziki sauce, they wanted to Charge $2 extra. No thanks, after paying $20 or so for a dry sandwich and tips alone. Maybe I should have saved the tip for the sauce lol. Never going again

Kalita Grill was very clean inside and the staff were nice and helpful. I picked up my order and headed back to work. The food was okay, but I’ve definitely had better Greek food. The falafel was pretty hard compared to what I have had in the past and I’m not sure if it’s a different way of cooking it but I’m used to it being softer on the inside and the outside seemed a bit over cooked. I ate it anyway because it’s what I had for lunch, but I probably won’t be going back. It may be because I’m new to Boulder but it was pretty pricey. The food was good but very high for what I ordered.
