This location has consistently been wonderful. The staff are always kind.
This review is in reference to my experience this evening in which they went above and beyond.
It seems there was a mistake on the website that showed the Valentines heart shaped pizza still available. We thought we ordered a pepperoni, but we did not. We ordered plain cheese on accident.
I called to first confirm whether the order was our error. If it was, we of course were happy to keep the heart shaped cheese. They confirmed that we did in fact order the cheese. However, they insisted we come down so they could make the heart shaped pepperoni pizza (mind you, they don’t make it after Valentine’s Day!) that we thought we ordered.
When I arrived, they confirmed what I wanted vs what was actually ordered. After I told them that they didn’t need to need to make the special shape, they insisted they would. I did mention that this was for my daughter, but I am positive they would have done it anyway. I requested more than once to pay as this was our error, and they refused to take any money from me. I made sure to tip well, and given the entire experience I still feel it wasn’t enough.
Once my pizza was ready to take home, I made sure to thank who I think is the manager (or probably owner of the franchise), and he was SO gracious! As was the other man that was there.
We used to order from the RT on S. McDowell in the plaza with Safeway, Staples, See’s, etc. We nearly always had problems (at one point we ordered 1.5hrs before delivery was unavailable and when we called, they told us they were closed) so were very excited when this location opened as we have a picky eater and sometimes pizza equals a stress free night.
They have been so consistent and reliable. It feels silly to rave about a chain pizza place and typically I wouldn’t, but these guys are amazing.

We had such a great experience at this location. Joaquin jr was super courteous and attentive. He would check in if we needed anything and fulfilled our orders at perfect timing . We love coming only to this location!

The gentleman who took our order was nice but as we waited we noticed he and the other associate making our order never washed their hands or wore gloves. They kept taking more orders as people came in and we noticed they continued to handle cash and just proceeded to grab the raw dough without washing their hands or wearing gloves. We probably won’t be back tho this location.

The pizza tastes good and the quality is just like the other nearby round tables. It really is a lifesaver late at night when everything else is closed! The atmosphere in the seating area feels a little cramped here and of course pricing is high like other round tables.

We are used to Round Table Pizza with a salad bar with lots of choices. We are used to Round Table Pizza with sports tv on, not news, and religion and a burning fireplace. We are used to fountain drinks and free water. None of this was available at this store. We won’t be returning.

I am SOOOO disappointed! I have always been able to count on what to expects with an RT pizza…for the last 40 years! Killer sauce, the right amount of cheese, lots of pepperoni and tons of mushrooms. So much topping coverage, you barely see cheese yet do see tomato sauce. Tonight as a special treat I spent $30 on a small pizza to be delivered. OMG, LOOK AT THIS…Way too much cheese (I had to take most of it off), NO tomato sauce and honestly..one entire mushroom over the whole thing. I’ll never order from RT on Kentucky Ave. again. I’ll only go to East side on McDowell. What a waste of money.

The only bummer was there salad bar isn’t running right now. Which is usually awesome, but understandable with the COVID and respiratory infections #’s raising. They to offer individual Caesar and regular salads packaged. Miss the lunchtime salad bar, but overall great experience, cheerful staff too.

They don’t put sauce on the pizza. I even ordered it to have extra sauce, but there was nothing between the bread and the cheese. I’ve never had this issue at any other Round Table before. I’ll continue to drive the longer distance to the Round Table Pizza across town.
