Every bite was exquisite.
I enjoyed my Dragon Smoke Mezcal drink
The crispy pork belly was amazing!
Three rolls and the beef tartare shared with my husband was the perfect amount of food.
Our server Stephanie was very welcoming and helpful with the menu.
We will return!
The omakase experience was delicious and interesting – seven courses including a three piece nigiri course with high quality toro, a tempura fried Japanese river crab imitating popcorn, a take on an everything bagel with salmon and Japanese milk toast, and a spectacular Hokkaido scallop with corn and tomato emulsion with champagne foam. Everything was decadent and beautiful.
Let’s bring the light back to this review. From ambiance, to service, to quality, they consistently provide Michelin experience paired with filling servings, every time. The drinks are superb, I don’t typically indulge in a cocktail, but here maybe I’ll have 2. Reservations are highly recommended, even the wait list would be a good idea, but I’ve found seating, even if it meant a solo date at the bar.
Being my repeat visits, many of the staff have waited on me, some more than once. From the very first meet, all of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and hospitable.
My favorite roll, I could probably eat 10 of if my stomach allowed, is the negi toro. To get a roll this good, you’d have to get lucky at the small selection of sushi restaurants in Orlando (2hr) or make the drive to Miami (4.5hr). You know why? Because, sushi THIS good is flown in. And I will happily pay for my sushi’s plane ticket over grocery store “sushi” any day.
Beyond the negi toro, the sashimi was immaculate, the hanabe roll is like fireworks in your mouth. I’ve tried most or all of the appetizers – the wagyu shrimp toast is insane, with it’s burst of umami plus the buttery toast, divine and indulgent, great sharable, as are the bao buns and the karrage chicken! The appetizers are delicious, but don’t be fooled, you will get full so save room for the fish. The lychee martini, the mule, even the sake is incredibly smooth and all have paired so well each time.
You can tell that when you dine here, there has been tremendous thought in all of the details.
So happy to have Noble Rice in Tampa, I have actually flown to Miami for sushi, so it’s serious to me. Love this place!
