Excellent restaurant/bar in the downtown area strip. Been here a couple of times and will keep it in mind whenever I pass through. Food is excellent, affordable, and presentable.
Only downsides are a lack of salad dressing options (very small gripe) and difficulty parking at times.
You seat yourself here and I prefer it that way, much easier to get a comfortable spot.

After a long day of traveling we were hungry and tired my man found this place and said it looks good he wants a beer and steak, i was not really interested but we are so glad we went. i had the best chicken fried steak and they mastered his sirloin we are so happy we went. Shout out to Roxanne our server she was awesome. We will be back with friends.. Yummy

While driving across Oklahoma, we love trying new stuff and especially supporting local businesses. While we were in Woodward, our innkeeper suggested several restaurants, although some were closed due to it be being homecoming for the local high school. So Longshots it was. Overall, the aesthetic was really nice. Service was good as were our salads. The mixed greens were really good… Then the entrées. That is where the disappointment comes in. I had the hamburger steak, which was two frozen patties atop one another(they separated quickly and cleanly) with hardly any taste, the consistency of jerky and dry as dirt. My fiancé’s steak was ordered medium, and was served extra well. Couldn’t cut through it. They did offer to remake both. We took them up on the steak (good cut, just prepared incorrectly) but not on the hamburger steak. If two frozen patties put together is the standard, they can serve it else where.
Our server said they knew it was overcooked when they brought it out. Hmm… should’ve never happened. Then, I got to sit there and stare at the atrocity for the duration of our meal, as it was never removed from the table.
They say it’s normally one of the best places in town. I hope that’s true, but I can only review on my personal experience.
Drive on elsewhere.

Good service. Poppers were great and came out quick! Had the hamburger steak with okra and salad.HUGE Angus patty. Good as ordered to medium. Juicy and flavorful !

The prices are fair. Whatever you order, you will not leave hungry. The burgers are really good, the mac and cheese is super cheesy without being too much. The container that it is served in helps it to stay hot until you’ve finished 1/2 the burger. (I eat super slow, so that is a big deal to me).
The service is great too!
If you are passing through, definitely stop to get some yummy food here! We are planning on coming back the next time we are in the area.

Flip Out
In all the times we passed through Woodward, Longshots was new to us, and we went for lunch. We had a chips, queso, and salsa appetizer and it was good. The Little Flip Outs wanted cheeseburgers and they both enjoyed them. Mrs. Flip Out ordered the Railhead burger and it was very good and flavorful. The mushrooms on the burger were tasty with the Swiss cheese. I had the Longshot burger and it was a complex burger with lots of flavors.

Great spot with a laid-back vibe and really good food. The menu has a solid variety, everything came out hot and fresh, and the portions were generous for the price. The burgers were juicy, the wings were crispy and flavorful, and the sides were done right.
Service was friendly and attentive, and the place felt clean and comfortable. Good place to grab a casual meal and watch a game. I’ll definitely be back.

This is a comfortable restaurant, with great service, and decent food. The waitress was extremely friendly and efficient. The chips, queso, and salsa are excellent. However I do not recommend the chicken-fried steak. It is not made fresh, it is frozen.

have been here several times with my mom and the food is always delicious. it’s hard to find restaurants that actually know how to cook a steak, but this one has delivered every time we come. medium well ribeye/sirloin was delicious, love their soft pretzel. waitresses are friendly and are always busy!
