Iron Dish Korean is such a fun and delicious experience! I loved being able to cook the food right at the table on the gas grill—it made the meal interactive and exciting. The quality of the meats and sides was excellent, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff was super friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere is lively and perfect for hanging out with friends or family. If you’re looking for great Korean BBQ with an awesome experience, this is the spot!

Used to love this place until everything changed… I remember the server used to bring out the banchan, salad, and sauces prior to greeting you. Food was okay, but honestly the service was what made this experience bad. Our server didn’t greet us until 30 minutes in (mind you it wasn’t even busy) and unfortunately after she did greet us, we didn’t get our meats and sides another 30 minutes… So we didn’t start eating until an hour in lol. Luckily after awhile, our server was a bit more attentive so things did get a little bit better. I do feel as though we were a bigger party and got automatic grat, our server did not care for us since she knew she was getting the money either way.
Sadly I do not recommend this place anymore for whoever wants KBBQ. I think there are other AYCE KBBQ that are just as good, with better service.

I pay attention to everything the moment I walk in. It took the hostess 3-5 minutes to greet us. She’s literally looking at us while speaking to the person bussing tables. After greeting us, she told us kitchen closes at 10:30. That was fine because we don’t take long to eat. Says our table will be ready in 5 minutes but it seems as if she was looking for a server to take us. Watching the conversation unfold asking a server if she can take us is awkward. I say this to say, the situation made me feel like we were an inconvenience to the restaurant for coming at 9:30p.
However, I really appreciate the server who agreed to take us. I wish I got her name. So sweet. We sat at the last booth by the bar towards the back on the left hand side (if you’re standing from the entrance)
Food. My favorite was the salad with sesame and cheese corn. Meat was okay.
I won’t come back lol.

Visited here while seeing family. Our group was around 12 people and they accommodated us fairly quickly. Wait was around 35 minutes and it was a Friday night. Service was exceptional and the food quality was great! Everything tasted well seasoned and the staff was quick to change the grill plate out when we needed it. We’ve been back several times before and each time has been wonderful. Highly recommend this place if you have a hungry group!

My girlfriend and I were craving some grilled food on a rainy day and decided to try this Korean BBQ spot we randomly found on Google Maps. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the hype — this place is seriously overrated.

1. Leaky Roof Woes – No matter where we sat, rainwater managed to drip dangerously close to our table. I guess the rain loves wagyu as much as we do. The setup was uncomfortable and not what you’d expect from a restaurant that charges premium prices.
2. Dessert Disappointment – When I inquired about dessert (since it was part of the menu), I was told there was none left. I politely asked if there was a replacement or alternative, but the manager offered no solution — not even a simple direct apology.
3. Unprofessional Management – My interaction with the manager was frustrating. His only response to my concerns was, “What do you mean?” He deflected blame for the leak onto the property management company, yet neighboring businesses don’t seem to have the same issue. Whether it’s unwillingness to fix the problem or a lack of customer service training, the experience left a sour taste.
4. Shoutout to Our Server – On a brighter note, our server (whose name I sadly didn’t catch) was incredibly kind and patient. She took the time to explain the situation and did her best to make us feel comfortable. Her professionalism stood out in an otherwise disappointing visit.
Hopefully, the owners take feedback like this seriously and make some much-needed improvements.

Came on a Saturday and the place was packed. I had to wait 20 minutes to eat, but since it wasn’t my first time I knew the wait was worthy. Although the place was full the food came quick and the service was good. Love all side dishes and my favorite meats are the marinated ones.

I was really looking forward to trying Iron Dish after going to 704 for years, but unfortunately the meat was very disappointing, especially considering we ordered the premium meats. It was honestly some of the worst Korean BBQ I’ve had in Charlotte. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice. The rice cakes were also really good. Unfortunately, the quality of the meat just didn’t live up to expectations. To make matters worse, my wife got sick later that night and threw up multiple times after eating there, which made the experience even more disappointing.

We had a GREAT… EVERYTHING!
Didn’t get a chance to take pictures of the food- but eat it! The spicy rice, garlic stems.. all of the things. The service was fantastic also – Selena was great and Jason came over and was quite cordial. The kids loved it too.

If you are coming here just to hang out, meet friends, and eat some appetizers, then you’re in the right place. But if kimchi or pickled radish and veggies matter to you, I would stay away.
I came here for my birthday yesterday, and the pickled radish tasted old and unpleasant. I love pickled radish and kimchi — it’s one of my favorite parts of KBBQ — so this was really disappointing. The kimchi looked promising, but the texture was off and it just kind of squished in my mouth… not good.
I’m not expecting perfection, but I will say this: Kpot — no matter which location I’ve been to — has never messed up their kimchi or radish. That comparison definitely stood out.
Honestly, if I hadn’t already eaten two servings of genuinely good meat, I probably would have left after trying the sides. To be clear, this wasn’t the server’s fault at all — service was fine — but the quality of the banchan really missed the mark for me.
