Great little buffet with wide range of food offerings. They use quality meat here (e.g., chicken breast, not thighs, in their stir fries) and they have a salad bar and soft serve for dessert. Soups are high quality, too, and not just after thoughts. I love this place. I don’t know why people say that the cost is $20-30 per person–their buffet dinner is definitely less than $20.

I’m a big man and (maybe TOO) interested in Asian spice, so I’m probably biased.
That said, the early dinner hours have been phenomenal.
The waitress I had for both of my two visits was attentive to every table, and even the cook stopped by while he was refilling his drink to ask if I needed the blinds shut!
The food itself is…predictable, but that’s good! I happened to come in on Wednesday, the first time, which is Dumpling Night! They had three kinds of dumplings (I’d call them potstickers, myself) and of them I liked the pork and sweet corn dumpling the best, but mainly because it reminded me of creamed corn, which I love. For desserts, the ice cream machine is a fair solution, and the Tiramisu is a nice touch, but it’s the Almond Cream Wontons I fill my plate with.
Worth coming to, for sure.

My youngest wanted to eat here for his 10th birthday, and the sign on the table said Sunday was kids day so when we received our bill for over $93 we were shocked at how expensive it was since it was myself, my boyfriend, my 15 year old son (who only at one plate of food) and my ten year old, so I asked the waitress and she said oh only kids 5 and under and I told her they need to clarify that on their advertisement. Not really impressed that they charge extra for soda since no one else in the area does and they charge a bit more than the comparable buffers in the area. Other that the ridiculously expensive price the food was amazing but sadly we will not be returning their again since we can get the same thing at another restaurant that is far more budget friendly.

Everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious. The harvest chicken is always tender, the cauliflower in butter sauce is amazing, the almond cream cheese wonton are yum and the sweet and sour sauce is perfect. Would have given 5 stars, but the salad bar was disappointing.

Since it is New Year’s Eve, my husband and I decided to order take-out food from the Snap Dragon in Moorhead, one of our favorite restaurants. We had run an errand so stopped to pick up our order on our way home. When my husband handed me the bag with our order, I could see there was sweet and sour sauce running all over the inside of the bag and soon it was running on the outside of the bag as well. Clearly, the person who filled our order did not securely close one of the containers of sauce. Unfortunately, by the time we got home there was sauce all over my coat as well as on the upholstery in our vehicle. Needless to say, when we finally were able to sit down to eat, the food was cold and not very enjoyable at all. It will be a while, if ever, before we order take out food from the Snap Dragon again. Extremely disappointing.

This place is awesome! The food has a homemade, well-crafted feel to it, and the servers are very good. It’s a good place to come with family or friends. Once again, the food is always really fresh, and ever since they’ve knocked their prices for buffet down, we’ve been coming again and again.
I want to add that they have amazing deals and takeout. Their takeout has always been spot-on and always at the same quality as their buffet.

1st time to dine at Snap Dragon. Not a ton of options on their 2 small lines, but the food was good. The sweet and sour chicken is definitely the best i have ever had and petty tasty fried rice also. They had a few more option on the dinner side, offering a few more seafood options. Also very happy they had Pepsi instead of Coke products.

I moved to Fargo six months ago and haven’t found anything very good.
Then, when I was in Moorhead I gave Snap Dragon a shot. Bullseye!
The prices are competitive but not bad.
And the staff was completely charming.
