Came here for a few drinks with a friend. It was my first time. The atmosphere was perfect to have a few drinks. The decor makes it feel warm. The bartender was attentive. Drinks were awesome, although I don’t remember exactly what I had. Highly recommend!

In every case, the quality of service has been a defining factor in my experience. Unfortunately, the Marriott hotel in Aventura has been one of the biggest disappointments in this regard.
It all started on Friday, August 16th, when we went for a drink at the Soffs Lounge. From the very beginning, the experience was disappointing. The woman who attended to us seemed annoyed and clearly had no interest in providing good service. We were in a group discussing business, and her attitude—rude, unprofessional, and lacking basic courtesy—made the situation uncomfortable.
It’s hard to understand how someone so poorly trained and with so little willingness to serve guests can be assigned to a position that should represent the hotel’s image. Service should not depend on how much is ordered; in a 5-star hotel, excellence should be consistent and guaranteed at all times.
On top of that, when I approached the front desk to ask a question, the person who attended to me was equally rude and unprofessional. It doesn’t matter how much you pay for a stay; the service should be impeccable, and in this case, it was far from it. I cannot recommend this hotel in any way; the experience makes it feel like a roadside motel, far beneath what one would expect from a Marriott.
