Unbelievably delicious food that we couldn’t miss to have a little chat with the chef. It’s must try for Mexicans to try this taste out of the mexico as to me this was somewhat familiar asian Chinese spices. It’s a surprise treat for international travellers taste buds.

Well that’s the food overtaking another pros of this place which is rooftop giving you good opportunity for sun set, city overview as well as a good corner glimse of the main church

We made a reservation for 9pm on a Monday, not sure why they didnt accept a reservation closer to 8 because it wasn’t busy. Still, we were greeted on the fiest floor and guided by a lovely woman up the winding stairs with a gradual incline. We selected a table aling the railing and enjoyed the city lights. We started with a traditional margarita and espresso martini with the cauliflower, so tasty. Then I had the mushroom casserole and he had the fettuccine. With a class of wine. The mushroom casserole was delicious and comforting as just a slight chill in the evening began. The server was attentive and respectful of my attempt to practice my Spanish. In total. The meal was $115. This was a lot. I know we were in awe hotel and that is to be expected. It was a Sunday evening, and we wanted a rooftop experience after my week long conference there. Many restaurants were closed at that time. So we paid for that.

If you can make it up the four flights of stairs, stepping over loose tiles and hanging on to the railing for dear life (ok just a bit exaggerated) you will be rewarded with one of the cities best views. We were a bit concerned after reading about some of the food reviews but we had a wonderful experience. The duck sausage pasta and the cauliflower appetizer were delicious, as was the organic tomato salad. To be honest the food was way better than expected and the service was wonderful. When I made a bit of a snarky remark about the puny pour of my wine by the glass (which seems to be a new fad all over) the attentive staff refilled my next glass generously. Best closeup view of the cathedral and just an overall lovely sunset experience.

Atmosphere and city view are fantastic! Very good service as well! Our complaint is the quality of food, not good enough for that prices and for such a nice place. We ordered several dishes and no one impressed us at all.

They have a Spanish and English menu. Service is amazing. They think of everything. We were there later in the evening and it started to get chilly. They brought over blankets, and had a propane heater to turn on. They did a cute trick to pour the soda. They also knew the angles and lighting to take a picture for you of your group. Been here twice and will return when we go back to San Miguel.

Selina’s rooftop is a great spot to enjoy a beautiful city sunset. Luis was our server and he gave us great drink and food suggestions. He was very attentive and friendly. The food was tasty especially the appetizers.

Was here on my last visit to SMA and felt it was important to get a second opinion. Who knew, my first impressions were correct.

There is no better location to catch a sunset, and while ours was a little cloudy it was awesome. Now throw in great service and excellent food and it is a recipe for an amazing night. David made sure we were properly settled and made some paring suggestions. The chef and staff made it all come together brilliantly.

The mushroom appetizer and burger were phenomenal. The mixed green salad was gigantic in volume and flavour and the fish was also very savory.

Do yourself a favor and climb the many, many steps to get there. You will be rewarded handsomely for your efforts.

The food and service were both top notch. The restaurant was gorgeous and the rooftop offers amazing views. There was also live entertainment in the form of a trapeze artist-super cool. The ONLY thing I didn’t care for was that the music was very loud-made it a little difficult to carry a conversation. I had ordered an appetizer of hummus with brussel sprouts & apparently my order got mixed up and instead I received the hummus with short ribs, but since I’m not actually vegetarian, I didn’t say anything and was glad I didn’t because the short ribs were insanely delicious! Everything our table ordered was great & they were very conscientious of our friend’s gluten allergy. I had been a little apprehensive about coming here, afraid it may be a tourist trap, but although it was on the expensive side, it was totally worth it.

A lovely rooftop restaurant with fabulous views, excellent food, lovely waiter… allowed our small dog ( unusual on a rooftop restaurant)…not cheap but fair priced for the experience with wonderful sunset..be aware that it’s about a 3-4 story climb to get to the top for those with mobility concerns…waiter spoke English as well if needed…
