This place is a staple whenever I travel to granby Quebec, from the service to the freshness of each dish I order, I’ve been coming here once or twice a year when I visit granby or make a pit stop when I travel towards Sherbrooke.
I mainly have the same order every time, which starts with a curry noodle soup, the spring roll ( which is probably the best spring roll I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of spring rolls during all my traveling ;)..)
I get the dinner chicken/beef/shrimp dinner with rice. Perfect combination of everything I like on one plate.
Also the hot plate with seafood, it’s perfect you get all the veggies you want to eat plus calamari and tiger shrimp.
This time around I also tried the general tao chicken for the first time (amazed at the different flavors that hit the palette with this dish)
Every single time I leave satisfied, full and happy, but at the same time sad that I’m going back to Toronto and won’t have it until the next time I travel to this part of granby.
All in all I recommend you try this local gem that’s been around since forever.
You won’t be disappointed

I was in the area and wanted to try a Pho soup and since this place said they had one I decided to try it

They had only one selection of Pho

The soup it self was very basic
Broth was good not too salty
The noodles were ok
The pork was ok
And you had some chives

There was missing an addition of Asian basil
No soy roots
No lime
No veggies in the broth

Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place if you want to try some good Pho

My girlfriend had a pad Thi and it was very good

JUST LOVE IT, I wish I was living in Granby to have my dinner at this amazing restaurant every night, 30 nights a month and 360 nights a year.

I highly recommend that I tried few of their recipes and each one of them tasted was way better than the other.

Merci beaucoup

The worst experience I’ve ever had. We came to Montreal to visit the zoo. We are English speakers and were treated so poorly because of it. From the moment we walked in the door and they found out we spoke English we were treated rudely. They had no English menus so we translated a lot on our phone. When we ordered we made sure to be as clear as possible. The wrong food was brought to us twice, when we tried to say that she just huffed at us and walked away. The second time after being ignored and disrespected for 20 mins we decided to pack up our food and leave, but said we weren’t paying for the one dish that we didn’t order and wouldn’t eat. She made us pay 90$ for two meals and one appetizer and then as we announced our displeasure, she demanded we give her a tip. I cannot believe we were treated the way we were simply for speaking English. Absolutely a shameful business and they should all be disgusted with themselves. The food we did get was greasy, soggy, and there were flies everywhere.

WOW! I haven’t had such a good Asian meal in a long time! Everything was so savory
Special mention to the rolls, wish I could have brought some back home.

I went with family and waiter Kim served us. We brought our wine and they allowed to drink there without any extra charges. Food was not very good but okay type. Restaurant ambience is nice and staff miss Kim is friendly and helpful. TQ

The food was not great, similar to food court quality, especially at the price point. The service was good at the beginning of the meal (filling water glasses promptly) but by the end of the underwhelming meal, we had to ask for the machine to pay our bills twice, still waited 20 mins, and had to get up to pay at the counter.

Showed up with no reservation on a Saturday and got a table right away, service was good. The chicken cari soup and fried calamari were good. The pad Thai was not really spicy, ask for 3/3 spice level.

1. Too costly. 2 dish (Pad Thai and Chicken bird nest) cost us 50$ tax and tip included. The price is absurd.

2. A bit scamming. We brought our toddler to eat with us, they refused to let us pick a menu item from the kids menu (I suspect because it was just 8.95$ and they wouldn’t make any profit out of it). So we were forced to pick a normal dish for the toddler at 18$ tax excluded…

3. Food quality was terrible. So when we got our dishes, my wife and I realized that both our dishes had way too much pepper. When we asked the waitress… She said… It must be the oyster sauce… As if we, as Asians, didn’t know the difference between pepper and oyster sauce… The Pad Thai was lumpy and didn’t taste like anything that I could qualify as a Pad Thai… As a matter a fact, just to add salt to injury, I would say that Thai express makes better Pad Thai than this.

Both my wife will not be coming back again. If you are Asians, I don’t think you will like it either.
