The staff is super friendly and welcoming. First time I went, it was like 20 minutes before closing, and not once did I feel rushed. That kind of hospitality goes a long way.
I’m officially obsessed—this is hands-down my new pho spot in the area!
The cashier (probably the owner) was not quite friendly. No smile at all.
The Honey Sesame Chicken and General Tso’s Chicken were both dry, chewy, and clearly not fresh. The sauce had pooled at the bottom of the containers, making it obvious the food had been sitting out for quite some time. When we called to voice our concerns, Carlos was argumentative and informed us that the food was made earlier this morning, with the last batch cooked around 4 PM due to being busy. Admitting the food was made hours ago only confirmed our suspicion that it was old.
The egg roll didn’t even resemble an egg roll—it looked more like a spring roll—and it was dry and cold. The Crab Rangoon, Shrimp Tempura, and crispy noodles (for the soup) were similarly disappointing—greasy, stale, and unappetizing and The Lo Mein was overcooked.
The only saving grace was the Fried Rice, which was better than the rest of the dishes, though still not exceptional.
To address our complaints, Carlos offered us a $30 credit toward a future order. However, we’re not satisfied with that resolution. After this experience, we’re hesitant to order from here again, as we don’t believe they can deliver either quality food or good customer service. What was supposed to be a quick and easy dinner turned into a frustrating ordeal, and we’re now left scrambling to find something else to eat.
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant.
So the food! I started ordering delivery from here when I lived at a different address a little bit further away and I didn’t think too hard about it. It was good, warm food with massive portion sizes somewhere 15 minutes or so down the road. Holy cow do they give you a lot of food. Some of the prices can seem a liiiiittle steep but when you see the ingredient quality you get and how MUCH of it you get, it all sorta clicks. And then there’s always some sort of discount or two-for-one deal going on so I order one of those and I’m set for the entire day cause the portion sizes are just that large. It’s great.
I move out, check this random restaurant in a shopping center next to Walmart that seems kinda forgettable and throwaway from the exterior. It’s a little dark inside but some people really go for that. Atmospheric and mood setting or whatever. The staff are incredibly friendly. Almost enough to make it kinda awkward. If you’re extroverted you’ll probably love them. I could have gone for a little less pampering myself but that’s just my tastes. I got this ramen bowl and was blown away by how much of it I got and how good it was.
I start ordering takeout from them seeing all the deals and stuff and then I realize, “wait a minute… wasn’t that one place I used to order delivery from about in this location? Didn’t their menu look exactly the same? And they gave massive portion sizes?” I check the order history and oh my goodness this is indeed the same place.
So if I’m ever in the mood for Asian, this is the place. There’s competitors nearby (heck, there’s a Panda Express around the corner) but I feel like I get the best meal(s!) and the best bang for my buck right here. Cannot recommend them enough and I haven’t even tried a fraction of their menu yet. There’s just so much stuff.
