If you love a good simple and delicious breakfast, this is the spot. The atmosphere was great. The service was quick. The food was delicious. My boyfriend and I got country fried steak with over medium eggs and biscuits with gravy. The biscuits were the softest biscuits I ever had! My boyfriend did say that his country fried steak had more breading than meat but he still enjoyed it. Coffee was great, can’t go wrong with that.

Classic small town diner. Awesome food. I had the country fried steak and eggs. It was excellent, with truly southern gravy. Wife had eggs and grits. These were real grits. Service was excellent and everyone was smiling and asking how the food was. This will be a regular place for us.

My man and I drive past this place frequently and recently decided to check it out for the first time after living in statesville for four years. This place is cute and the food was great and cheap! I should have took a picture of it.But the liver mush was paper thin.They gave me two pieces curled up like bacon. The cook was continually screaming out orders like cable number and then the waitress’s name very annoying. Table number would have been good.The waitress name would have been just fine, but he would scream it out. ObviouslyHe don’t know how to cook over medium eggs.They were basically fried. The hash browns, half of it was burnt.The other half of it wasn’t cooked. But the water was great.The service was even better.And I think they didn’t appreciate the hollering by the cook, either.

Stopped in for some all day breakfast to go around 6pm. I was greeted promptly and offered a menu. Upon making the selections for my family and paying it took approximately 12 minutes for my food to be ready. We got it home and to our surprise(due to bad luck at other restaurants not here) everything was correct and all the condiments were included I had ask for. My club was prepared exactly as I ordered it, lite mayo and it tasted fantastic! Fries were cooked great as well, not overly cooked or raw. The eggs for the other meal were over easy, also cooked correctly, and the bacon and hashbrowns crispy, also as ordered! Overall I have to say we were very pleased and will definitely be making this our go to place for our breakfast fix!! Prices were also reasonable so give them a try sometime!!
