This place was great, I’ll be back regularly. It’s so nice to have more traditional Chinese dishes in this area of NC. Having been to NE China several times I was pleased to taste these flavors again.
Owners are lovely hardworking people and deserve success

This place is dynamite. Ate here for the first time a couple days ago and can’t stop thinking about the dumplings, which I learned are hand made to order. All the food you see below cost $41, which for me was well worth it. Two mains, two apps and a side of lo mein.
Cucumber salad was incredible. Dumplings (beef) so good you’ll spin right off this planet. Veggies were fresh and cooked / seasoned well, the staff was very friendly and gave great service.

Gotta try THIS place! Not your standard Americanized Chinese food, this is the real thing – North China cuisine. I am very impressed with this now local family owned and run restaurant. I even enjoyed the tofu and I rarely, read as ever, enjoy tofu!

If you are looking for traditional Chinese food, Pan Goo is the place. This food doesn’t even compare to the americanized Chinese food that you’ll find in other places. You have to come here and try it out. Absolutely fantastic!

Fantastic, authentic Chinese dishes! The cucumber peanut salad is delicious, fresh, and balanced. The beef rolls are a must have. We also enjoyed the eggplant and chicken dishes. The rice is much better than other Chinese places we’ve tried. The hibachi chicken from the kids menu was such a pleasant surprise! It is not a “throw-away” dish as with some kids menus. It is a quality and well-seasoned dish with lovely fresh vegetables and rice included—definitely a large enough portion to share. We found it to be an excellent value for our money. The interior isn’t fancy, but we are all about the food. We will definitely be back!

The Chinese food was great. Where can you even get handmade dumplings any more? I would go back just for them. Also what seemed to be hand made Lo-Mein noodles were awesome, and the sauces were on point. This is family style food and should be shared with your table. Prices are super cheap. Like cheaper than value meal at fast food cheap. Owner works in kitchen, and visited our table to check in on us. We’ll be back!

We have never had this poor of an experience with Chinese food around here. I have never had “authentic” Asian cuisine, but I doubt this would be what it tastes like. The prices are those of a 5 star restaurant when clearly I’m giving it one star. We paid $35 for two dishes. My husband thought the two orders of sesame chicken came with egg rolls (like your standard meal) and when they didn’t he ordered some. He didn’t realize ONE egg roll cost $3! And they were not very good. However, they were much more tolerable than the rest of the food. Our sesame chicken had no flavor and the onion in our fried rice was so overwhelming, we couldn’t eat it. Again, I’ve never eaten authentic Chinese food so this may be just some ignorant American complaining. But we will not be back.

Leisurely, authentic Chinese cuisine. The dumplings are amazing! Loved the spring rolls, the pineapple dipping sauce was an unexpected treat. Can’t wait to go back to try more of the menu. Not fast food, but good food.

Had our second fantastic experience here last night. They offer a variety of traditional dishes that are all delicious. So far we have tried the Bamboo Pork, Beef with Cumin, Dumplings, Beef Rolls, and Cucumber Salad. Each dish has been fantastic. We will definitely be going back again.

This was a very strange experience. It doesn’t look like much at first, and the menu descriptions were kind of confusing, but right off the bat you realize it’s not your typical Americanized Chinese restaurant. I went for the Ma-Po Tofu because I recognized it and it’s not usually found in many restaurants in the area. I also had something they called “chinese pizza” which was a type of fried flat dumpling and as soon as you cut it open you get this intense aroma of onion and ginger.
The tofu was excellent as well. Great level of spice and really flavorful.
This restaurant seemed to me to be aiming for authenticity. It might be misleading at first sight but I feel that fans of authentic Chinese food would travel a long way for food like that. I know I would.
