Reviews
The service has always been poor, going back to the days when they were in the Highland Ultra. Every location, old and new Lansing and Dyer the same way. Always been slow, never friendly. I went there from time to time because it tasted like the food I grew up with. I have reduced my visits over the years to about once a year.
I went this time because it was on the way to my destination. I pre-ordered with a lot of time before my arrival. So the food was ready. The same sour lady mentioned in other reviews gave me my order and took the payment. I have walked out previously when this lady was at the counter because she seemed really put out that I came in and was ordering food.
My destination was 5 minutes away so that is when I started eating. Discovering the tasteless, small steak burrito was disappointing. It was the amount of grease dripping out of it that made the burrito really bad. The chicken torta had the same issues.
So, I’m done. Too many other decent options in the area now to put up with the bad.
I said thabk you multiple times after paying then after she served my food (in a very rude way) and she never reply anything to me.
Tables and bathrooms arent clean either.
This place is becoming a real rip off, i have been a customer since lansing restaurant opened up, now in dyer , i have been going to this one since we moved here, so like about 4years, always get my usuals tosda suiza melted cheese rice beans never had a problem, on this day i was going to be charged $5.00 more to melt the cheese, oh hell to the no, im buying a meal for $15.00 melting the cheese , 0r throwing it on taco cold WHATS THE BIG DIFFERENCE????! This is the first they ever said this to me!! #8 is my meal, it was a young girl? Im sure owners daughter, another lady wanted a couple pickeled carrots $5.00 more also for a tiny tiny little cup!! So people dont ask for a napkin, have a good evening I WONT BE BACK, i will pass the word!!! Ty for your expensive time
Tried the sopes pastor platter, good but needed more pineapple added when meat is cooked. Refried beans also needed to be better seasoned. Good amount of food for price.
Second time tried their tostada platter, very good and better of the two dishes.
Will definitely eat here again, good food and nice sized portions.
I GOT: shrimp tacos on corn tortillas with grilled peppers and onions, NO CHEESE EVEN
If they only serve it that way, then why give the options? I’m just sayin’
