Reliable roasts, friendly staff, ample parking. Come for a cup, leave with a pound!

This was a stop on our way back from traverse city. Overall, was happy to find some coffee in this seasonal tourist town. I’ll start by saying the staff were really nice and welcoming. I was although disappointed by their brew options. Menu felt similar to what you might find at a biggby coffee shop. Their specialty was more in the espresso drink department and smoothies. For a roasting company I would have expected they would have offered more than just espresso and drip coffee.

I’d be curious to see what their food options taste like

This place is awesome! I had found them online and ordered online before coming here in person. They have so many selections of coffee and every one I’ve tried is so good! They also have such an amazing aroma. The best smelling coffee I’ve ever had. I would strongly suggest going here or even ordering their coffee online. A huge bonus is also that you’ll be supporting a local Michigan roaster and business.

This place is awesome and definitely worth a coffee stop! You’re in for an extra special treat if Jess makes your coffee, because she is an actual human cup of sunshine. Miss Kate’s Coffee Shakes are magnificent (highly recommend coffee ice cream in your coffee shake!), but keep in mind that they’re more like a shake and less like coffee. We got pastries + shakes, and it was a bit much. Also, they have GF cookies (from Third Coast Bakery, an allergy friendly bakery in Traverse City), in case you can’t do the regular pastries.
They have tons of flavored coffees on site. It’s worth a few extra minutes to check out the huge wall of coffees. I wish I had time to try them all out!!
We’re already excited to come back here later this week!

Was a really cool little coffee shop. Stopped here grabbed some coffee and some of their energy bites, both were good! It is in a really nice location, close to tons of cool little shops and stores. There is also an outside area for you to relax and enjoy what ever you may have got.

Very friendly cashiers, clean, quaint. Nice outdoor seating, weather permitting. Tons of coffee, for here or to go. 6 flavors up for summer, 4 in the off season. Prices aren’t bad, but a little expensive.

I’ve been coming here since they opened in the early 90s. Excellent coffee served by a great team. I love the varieties of coffee they sell from all corners of the earth. Their Miel Latte made with local honey is simply the best. If you’re a coffee person or like awesome hot cocoa, just make coming here part of your daily routine while you’re visiting the area. Congrats on 30 years in business!

I liked the coffee I had as well as the crissont. They have almond and coconut milk substitutes.
Edit: We went again the morning of our departure and they were open bright and early which is awesome for an independent place! The first time around I hadn’t noticed the bakery items they had for sale from the company “Third coast” which carries gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, vegan bakery items! I grabbed a couple of those including the GoGo! Energy Bites and the donuts which we’re both absolutely delicious! I could not be more satisfied with my experience at Leelanau coffee roasters! As always the coffee was great! They also prepare your items in a very timely manner which is a plus! I wish we had a coffee place like this back where I live!

Good coffee shop but not a good espresso shop. Baked goods are very impressive and decadent. The people were so friendly and aiming to please

A chill coffee place in Glen Arbor that serves up some quality beverages. After asking, I learned almost all beverages can be done iced, which wasn’t 100% clear from the menu. I was also told iced beverages only come in once size, which is like a large/medium. It’s enough, trust me. The expresso in the iced latte is fantastic! Think of your favorite coffee joint brand but better, AND local! I urge supporting local so we keep great places like this alive. Enjoy!
