Big sports bar and grill. Great place to catch a game with chums or soak a few suds with fun staff. Watched a couple of Packers games with some buddies and enjoyed a couple of apps. The buffalo cauliflower were ! Will have to delve deeper into the menu but a fun place to chill at.

This review is more of an apology. I went there on Tuesday night before Game 2 of the NLCS. I was going to be meeting some friends there but opted to leave Madison early so as not to deal with traffic. I parked a few blocks away and walked over. The main bar was already packed for the pregame fun. The other bar was still quiet and I wanted to get food. I thought it was best to just sit at the bar since I was alone instead of taking up a larger table that could seat more people. I ordered my food and started with some water. I paid for my food and left a decent-sized tip. I also pulled out my tablet to do some work – I kept it right in front of me to not take up anyone else’s personal space.
The food was great – I did the buffalo chicken wrap (sans sauce) – but still highly recommend.
By now the bar was starting to pick up and barstools opened up and then were occupied quickly around me. I switched over to a lemonade – handed the bartender a $10 and told her to keep the change. I was acutely aware of the fact that I was not drinking and not the ideal bar customer. However, I left about a $13 tip on about $17 in food/drink. The bartenders were working their asses off.
So here’s where the apology comes into play. I mistakenly thought it was best to sit at the bar and not a table. I didn’t know it wasn’t ok to sit there if I wasn’t having multiple alcoholic beverages. I now know this, because one of the bartenders came up to me, pointed at either my lemonade or tablet and asked if I was meeting people. I let him know I was – and mentioned that I had left Madison and my work day early to head to MKE. He responded with how I was just taking up a “hot commodity” space right now.
I stayed for a few more minutes – and left.
Now I know. My apologies.

Dugout 54, an excellent Wisconsin Sports Bar and Grill with fantastic food, awesome environment, with a super friendly staff! I had to get the chicken tenders, lotta reviews said they were the best in the city, I can agree they are so dang good! The super white, juicy chicken is fantastic and the beer battered breading was delicious! 9.2/10! I could imagine everything on the menu is great, will definitely come back here someday!

Here’s wall-to-wall People getting ready to go to the game. The Brewers Vs LA Dodgers. The great thing about this place is that other than the food and the camaraderie of fans, you can take a shuttle from their facility over to the stadium.
And you can take a beer with you for the road. You’re not driving so yeah? Why not? Hopefully, you’re the one that’s sitting cuz. If you’re standing, people are gonna get wet. I don’t even know if they allow you to have drinks on the bus or not. I’m not sure I think people finish their drinks while standing in line. Waiting to get on the bus 40 to a bus. So there was some standing room
You don’t stay on the bus too long. The ride is pretty short. And people are very excited, so is I
Make sure you tip the driver.

Our server/ bartender was amazing! I can’t remember her name but she was amazing tending to our big table of 9 people last week Friday! The baked fish was delicious! I also enjoyed the cheese curds of course! Great experience, this bar is top notch!

The chicken wings are big, cooked just perfectly and delicious. The wait time for them was a problem though. I had to wait 15 to 20 minutes for something that should be delivered in 5 to 10 minutes.
9/27/22: Went back again for the chicken wings because theirs are the best in the area. The service time was much better. I got my order within 10 minutes. However, maybe due to them not updating their online menu, I was charged $17 instead of the $13 that the online menu shows. Just an FYI for people who may order the wings.
9/18/23: Went back for lunch and the chicken wings were substandard this time around. Maybe it has to do with the day chef being different from the night chef. The wings were dry and not as juicy as before. Probably won’t go back for lunch but only after 5pm for Brewers game time.

Found this hidden gem on google, Dugout 54 and stopped by cause I was hungry and thirsty, nice place and atmosphere. I had the southwest burger with homemade chips, it was good and messy but if it’s not messy it not a burger. I will definitely recommend Dugout 54 if your in the area and yes they have tvs for sports. Will definitely be back when I’m the area.

Prices are reasonable and such a great location. You have good staff from what I can tell, and this was my first visit. Bartender was accommodating by splitting up a drink. I’d definitely come back! Thank you for the experience.
