I would give 6 stars if I could. Absolutely the best meal I have had in Alexandria so far, the Smothered Biscuits are incredible and great drinks. Ty my server was an absolute delight and was so great at his job and making the atmosphere fun. Could not recommend more!!!

My family of 8 rolled up starving. Mrs. Pat shared you will not be disappointed, it exceeded our expectations. We ordered shrimp and grits, chicken waffles, everything was terrific. Top award goes to the wings. Mrs. Pat was 100% on point. Note this location is closing and Mrs. Pat will be moving to the King St. location.

We visited Milk and Honey Express in Alexandria today because we needed to stop at the post office down Rte 1. What a wonderful surprise! Ms Pat greeted us as we entered and was incredibly welcoming. We ordered the egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches, one with turkey sausage and one with bacon. We ordered an extra order of the biscuits not realizing how full we would be! Ms Pat gave us a side of her fresh peach jam. We will be trying that later today! The sandwiches were excellent! We didn’t realize we would get two each and they were loaded with egg and cheese and meat. The biscuits are so buttery and sweet. Not a speck of dryness in them. We will definitely be back when we are up this way!

Holy Moly!!! This food was freak’n delicious! We randomly decided to check this place out because I was craving waffles so why not get some chicken and waffles. I cannot believe that the best chicken and waffles I have had in the entire DC area is in this tiny little hidden place by Walmart. I even got some tater tots and even those were incredible. So crispy!
The wait was about 30 minutes to get our food but man it was worth it. Thank you so much to the owner and his crew. I wish them the best of luck in their success. I will absolutely be coming back for more.

While traveling from out of town my husband and I needed to make a quit spot at Walmart. We were heading to a fast food chain to get a quick bite when we stumbled across Milk and Honey and decided to give it a try. We made the right decision to do just that. Parking is ample and convient and outdoor seating is available as well as some indoor tables. Upon entering we were greeted with delightful smiling faces making us feel welcomed. The menu had a wide array of food that would satisfy anyone’s palette. We decided on the smothered chicken and biscuits. Food is cooked to order and the coffee was hot and fresh. To say it was anything short of amazing could never justify what we received. The chicken was juicy, flavorful ,seasoned and fried to perfection. The eggs were scrambled cheesy delights and served on hot fluffy biscuits smothered with the most delicious Cajun gravy. The flavor of the gravy was creamy, with just the right level of spiciness to give it that bite that kicks it to the next level! The portion was ample as myself and my husband both ate from one serving and took the remained home to our son, who liked to container clean, lol. We will definitely be making this part of our trip anytime we are back in the area!

Ordered the egg and cheese biscuit with the smoked sausage. It was a huge sandwich with two biscuits, a bunch of eggs with melty cheese and some good sausage. There is so much egg and cheese that I gave up on eating it like a sandwich and went with a king and fork. Really good flavor, eggs were cooked perfect, not over done. The honey on the biscuits is a nice touch, I wonder if they ever tried it with hot honey?
The guy that helped me was really nice and we talked for a while. Bathroom was super clean and smelled good.
