The pictures look so good but the food was only subpar…..I ordered online and within 10 minutes my food was on the way to me, which concerned me but then I saw how delicious it looked. Unfortunately, it didn’t taste like it looked, the crab puffs were chewy like they’d been sitting all day. The steak and rice plate just didn’t taste that great. Truly the salad was probably the best part of the whole meal. The potstickers were ok, at least they were hot and didn’t appear to have been sitting all day.

We were looking for a restaurant that served gluten free selections in the Show Low area. This location is in the same shopping center as a McD and a Safeway, so my husband wandered over to check out the menu. After seeing soft shell crab as an appetizer and gluten free noodles for the Ramen dishes, we showed up during a busy Memorial Day to try the cuisine.
The place was pretty busy for a late 3 pm lunch, with several tables occupied and takeout orders being picked up. The server still spent some time to answer our questions about the gluten free options.
I ordered a GF chicken Ramen and my husband ordered a soft shell crab appetizer as well as fried Udon entree with Cha Shu (pork). We were both quite happy with our entrees and he was thrilled with the crab appetizer. We split a Special Thai Tea drink as my Ramen bowl was quite filling.
This place seems to be a converted fast food restaurant but provides sit-down service for everything but the takeout or pickups.

Ordered chicken. I was surprised by the amount. But it took a turn for the worst when trying to eat. Was not the best from start to thick, no spice, very large pieces. Fail on sauce and size.
Then, 1/4 way through eating, I had a quarter diameter shell. ( Pic is what I pulled from my mouth after chew discovery and hawking rest away) Well, so yes, ruined the food experience and couldn’t trust food.
Besides the…..bad experience (Asian Bistro should 10 foot pole this divergence). The thickness, no spice, and rice that would be equal to a first attempt on a campfire (minute made rice at the best) I found no reason to trust this food joint.
Seems like they just changed the name and menu without fixing the cook/manager issue. The menu should be amazing. But such pitiful execution….round 2 already a Koa.
My stomach turned. I didn’t feed the rest, even to my dogs. It was hot on arrival, super hot even after 15 minutes in transport. But sure did wish it was even a good. Not a run from. I give a do not eat. Just run… yes, run. Until some brave souls find that they have started to care about their food again
Hope they start caring about their food. Menu is amazing. Yet if I can microwave frozen food 5 times better. Including the rice (ouch, was a wow – really when trying). So, they can only improve, right?

美味しい! I am so excited there’s a Japanese restaurant on the mountain and it’s so so good! I love their ramen and the selection of ingredients is impressive. My favorite thing atm is their takoyaki (たこやきい) but i haven’t even tried a quarter of the menu yet. Will be coming to try new things for sure!

Donelle was the sweetest cashier, we were a big family and she was very kind and patient with us. We had a large order as well as many changes. The food was very delicious as well and they got all our changes correctly! This place is like fast food ramen and hibachi. They had a large variety of ramen choices and lots of included toppings. The hibachi combo was very good as well. The salad that came with it was delicious!!
10/10 would recommend this place! You must visit if you’re coming out of town 😀

I’m a picky eater and was surprised I found stuff I loved in a new place! We dined in and our server was fantastic! He had so much energy that got us excited about each plate we ordered! The food came out quickly and was so full of flavor The pot stickers were so good I order two more orders to go! This is our new go to place when in the area!

This place is great! I arrived just before lunch and their service was very speedy. I ordered the Beef Tonkatsu Ramen, Takoyaki, and a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Everything was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were large for the price of the food. Also, the iced coffee was a MUST. Excellent place for anyone wanting authentic ramen. I will definitely be back!

Delicious food at a reasonable price. I love that they are trying to make a wonderful sit down experience with nice dishes and cutlery! Had the Hibachi platter with shrimp and chicken GF had the Teriyaki bowl with scallops and Shrimp both were well presented and tasty

The sweet guy behind the counter obviously loves what he does and he was really helpful in guiding my dish selection. Everything here is amazing and the portions are generous. I loved my udon and hibachi tofu. The shrimp are tasty, too. I’d go back any time.

Made our first visit, for takeout, this weekend. The menu is extensive. The food was tasty, hot, well packaged, and promptly delivered: seafood rice bowl, hibachi red snapper, and ikageso karaage (squid tentacles) The servings were generally large (good thing, as the prices are not low). Service (by Donelle, I believe) was cheerful and welcoming. They need to advertise, maybe offer some incentives to visit. They deserve to do well.
