I had a decent experience at the ice cream shop. The service was okay, but not outstanding. The ice cream was good, but not the best I’ve had. I ordered a cone, and it took a bit longer than expected to arrive.
The staff was friendly, but seemed a bit distracted. The flavors were good, but not unique. I got the chocolate chip cookie dough, and it was just okay. Maybe it was just me, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend it.

We had been driving for the last 24 hours just wanted a warm quick meal. Came here and got food for 8 People. Upon entering a red haired gentleman had crazy unkempt hair with a nasty LONG beard no hair net or beard net did not greet or acknowledge that we were standing there, handling food WITHOUT gloves and then touching the register. I will give it to him for having a hat on… but the beard? Not with food bro. Are these kids taking a food prep class? And passing? Wow just wow. Also there was another gal in the back. Totally visible to public sitting in “the prep area” chowing down on food.
Another tall black haired gentleman was helping with food prep and learning from the redhead I apologize I didnt catch names. Had gloves on but was “wiping” them off between tasks and not changing them. Touched his sweater and pulled his pants up and did not change gloves just wiped them off with a napkin and went about his business… Grossed out already… I Go outside and wait. Should have gone somewhere else!! But gave them the benefit of the doubt. Which is where I went wrong.. Food comes and take a bite of my hamburger and there was a RED hair. In my bite of burge,r completely ruining my appetite and almost made me throw up. Glad I do not live here in Bozeman Montana because that was AWFUL! Someone higher up please address these issues. This is a food safety concern!!

I ordered takeout from here. My side was incorrect and I was given gravy rather than ranch (despite paying extra for the latter.) This experience caused me much dismay, although the chicken strips I received were adequate.

Whatever you’re paying Bob, the shift manager, double it. That man was running double time to make sure everybody was getting their food on time and correctly. He was also excellent about communicating when the food would be ready all during an extreme rush. He is the lifeblood of your store.

If you’re charging $5.89 for a small blizzard, please ensure the cup is full. I got one that was a quarter empty on the top, then when I pulled out the spoon the side was hollow too. I’d say I got about half.
When I said something to the guy working the window, he just closed it and walked away.

To the girl working at Dairy Queen off of 7th and mendenhall me and my little brother come here all the time and eat, we currently just went through the drive through of Dairy Queen and this blonde girl with a braid in and a beanie was very disrespectful and rude. We were just trying to enjoy a meal and until she served major attitude with our meal and didn’t even talk to us once or had a smile on her face. We thought that this was very unprofessional and out of line. Very disappointed with the service we had when we come here all of the time. If you don’t like your job then don’t take it out on your customers because it is very well seen that you hate you your job. And don’t want to be there.

Order taker was SUPER rude and short with me. Ordered a 4pc chicken strip basket and he goes “with ranch or bbq” stretching out his words and I said bbq please but not the sauce and tossed. I had a craving for a dilly and a buster bar and got them! Parking was tough, but good for them–lots of business. I was put off by the directness (harshness?) of the uber-efficient, military-trained manager/cashier. I just stood back and kept my mouth shut–until I got my buster bar!

As far as sweet treats and food go, DQ is not bad at all with their Blizzards being consistently good. However their service is consistently abysmal. You’re guaranteed to have a long wait time especially if your unfortunate to think the drive through is a fast option. DQ has had a staffing problem for as long as I can remember at this locations which goes to show the quality of the word environment.
