I’ve been here twice now. Both times did not disappoint. I got the grilled chicken quesadilla the first time and the texana fajitas the 2nd time. My husband got the grilled chicken and steak fajitas and the steak is the best of any Mexican restaurant around here. I’d highly recommend trying any of these dishes. The charro beans were bland compared to other restaurants I’ve been to but everything else is on point. The table side Guac made to order is excellent as well (bring cash to tip the man who makes it for you as it’s not your server)! Their bday celebration is loud and energetic with lights dimming during the singing. Was pretty cool to witness. Loud enough that kids can be obnoxious and it wouldn’t bother anyone, not that I’m encouraging that lol. Beautiful decor from the dine in area to the restrooms. I little pricier compared to other Mexican restaurants but it’s so good it’s worth it.

Visited El Asadero last weekend and had a great experience. My expectations are always low when trying new Mexican restaurants, so I was surprised at how good our experience was.
-Rice was by far the best I have ever had – I am still scratching my head on how it was so good.
-Beans were delicious and my ground beef burrito was solid as well.
-My wife chose a chicken and mushroom dish (I don’t recall the specific name) and loved it.
-My wife loved the salsa, but I wasn’t a fan due to the large chunks. I personally prefer a smooth salsa. The chips didn’t taste fresh, but I have had much worse.
-Service and atmosphere were VERY good.
We have lived in Cincinnati for nine years and Don Rigos has always been our favorite Mexican restaurant in the entire metro area. El Asadero has now become our new favorite. Highly recommended.

First time going. Food was amazing and while I will say the menu can seem a bit overwhelming it really isn’t. Just lots of good choices to pick from. Taste was great. Atmosphere was friendly, exciting, and fun.

If you’re gonna eat here and get sat with the older women as your server, ask for a different one. Took 3 1/2 hours to get 2 side items and an appetizer for 3 people. Sure they were busy but people who were sat maybe 45 mins after we were and a group of 6 or 7 got their food and bill before we did. Server had an attitude for whatever reason didn’t see her for like 45 minutes at a time. Left all the empty cups and plates on our table barely had room to eat when our food finally came after we waited over an hour to even order food. Service is better at McDonald’s.

Wow what a great experience! The service was great. The atmosphere is amazing. The entire restaurant has elaborate art and decorations. It made for a very fun family lunch.

The quality and flavor of the food is very good. Lunch prices average $10.99! The chicken and steak are tender, juicy and grilled to Perfection. The service is outstanding and so many drink options. It’s a wonderful fun vibe.

I was excited to try this Mexican restaurant, but unfortunately, my experience wasn’t great. The rice and refried beans were actually the best part of the meal flavorful and cooked well. However, the birria tacos were overly greasy, and the consomé soup that came with them was also greasy and lacked flavor. What really concerned me was that I bit into something hard in my food, which made me worry about the kitchen’s food handling. Overall, I left disappointed and don’t think I’d order the birria again.

Such a fabulous experience tonight! Second time dining at this location and it was so much fun! Our server was Andreas and I actually had him on my first visit there a couple of weeks ago. Outstanding young man and exceptional server! We had the best time with him. The food was again delicious! I can’t say enough good things about this place to be honest! I highly recommend them to anyone looking to for a fun evening with tasty food. Everyone who works there is always helpful, attentive, and so nice. I also highly recommend you request Andreas for your server when you go!
