I used to frequent this one every day after High School back in the 90’s. It is still a hit just as it was back then. Haven’t been there since June of 1998 and it just brought back all the nostalgia. Though the service back then was more upbeat and happy where it’s just mute with no emotion now. But otherwise fantastic.

This is the DQ that I like to come for over 10 years since I have lived at Suffolk for over a decade. Overall I have pretty good experience with this Courtland DQ all these years. I liked my fish sandwich hot and fresh, and most importantly, which affects the experience is the service. In the past, we are treated pretty well by different staffs, and this time was special. The Assistant Manager Shirley was the one who took our orders, she was patient with us and my children to decide what flavor ice cream they want. My wife wasn’t feeling well even before ordering the food there, and the Assistant Manager Shirley was attentive and showed concern for her and brought over to her a cup of Sprite to settle her stomach. Well, her recommendation did helped. She shew us genuine concern for our safe travel with children and wife thru the area. Friendly service and hot clean fresh foods have kept us coming back all these years. Thank you Assistant Manager Shirley for making us feel welcome and like a valued customer even though we don’t come eat here very often. May this location keep up the good work and we really appreciate friendly service and love seeing kind people in businesses that serve the public.

Stopped by and went through the drive thru around 8:30 pm on a Saturday night. The window was gross, the cashier never spoke to me, my fries were undercooked and the ice cream sundae was melted before it made it out of the window. I sat patiently for my drink after I was handed my food and it was obvious it was forgotten. No apologies and no real concern for customers or appearance. There is no pride in service. It looks like the management that actually cares needs to work some weekend nights. I don’t know if Mark still owns it, but it’s not the same DQ it used to be. I have gotten much better service at McDonalds and that’s saying a lot.

After recents post COVID a 3 Stars better represents this DQ imo. They really need an interior update now!
Service meh, the cashier was in street clothes not uniform. The treats still great, but they shorted me last time on portion size of a Peanut Buster Parfait.
The store interior has been crying out to be freshened up. So cannot imagine the back of the house. The owner has not touched anything with renovation in the many years I’ve visited.
Great location heading to I95, or I85 for me, but I will pass. 2.5 rounding up.

We went to dairy queen today and the lady in the drive through was so confused and didn’t know what she was doing. When we got our blizzards she gave us the wrong ones but when we got our correct blizzards they were all melty. We also gave them two gift cards knowing that they both had money on them and she kept one of them because she charged us for the wrong thing.

Went inside to purchase ice cream but kids had to use the bathroom and my daughter spotted a couple roaches and a dead roach by the door and the bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. Guess we won’t be getting ice cream today!

Took way way to long to make a small blizzard. I went to the bathroom and it took another few minutes after that to get the blizzard. Meanwhile the lobby had people waiting to be addressed by somebody! It was just to long of a wait. But I will say when I did finally see the little young lady she was at least moving kind of fast trying. Kudos to her for at least wanting to work and trying. So I didn’t complain or bother her for the long wait.
