My husband got the special, i got the peewee. Huge portion of pastrami. Some of the best french fries I’ve ever had. Amazing sandwiches and large portions. So glad we went here. Definitely gonna come back! Heads up, they get really busy at lunch time. When we left, there were no tables left. So timing seems to be everything if you want to eat there and we saw a lot of people get it to go. *has an ADA ramp!

We really enjoyed our lunch here. Everything sounded so good. We ended up getting the roast beef, cheesesteak and Cuban. They were all really good, but the bread was average. The roast beef was the favorite of the table with the fried onion topping. All the sandwiches were good size portions. We want to come back to try the other sandwiches.

Looking for THE BEST burger in Portland? Then look no further. Sandy O’s is the spot. Consistently delicious every time with excellent, friendly service. Finding a table at rush times can be a bit challenging but that just reinforces the deliciousness because people can’t stay away. Anytime we have out of town guests this is our go to spot and everyone agrees this is one of if not the best smash burgers around!! Do yourself a favor and check this place out. Oh, they have things on the menu other than burgers but the burgers are so good I can’t not order a burger every time. Love love love this place!!!

We stopped by Sandy-O’s on our family vacation and had mixed feelings. The burgers — especially the Rose Double and Blue Cheese Double — were fantastic, with crispy patties and great toppings. The staff was friendly, and we loved the nostalgic Trail Blazers mural. Unfortunately, the fries were greasy, the potato salad was too spicy for our Midwestern taste, and the classic salad just didn’t work. Overall, great burgers but a 2-star experience due to the disappointing sides and uneven quality.

Flew in from the Midwest and wanted to grab a quick bite. Ordered the Jalapeño Popper Burger and fries and everything was delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the entire experience was outstanding. Definitely swinging back through before heading back to the flatlands.

After a long day of hiking, I stopped by this place for a burger and I’m still thinking about it. The finely shaved lettuce and onion added a texture and flavor that completely elevated the whole experience. It was so unexpectedly good, I was texting my friends about it mid-bite.
The service was ultra friendly, too. The kind that makes you feel instantly welcome without being over the top. I enjoyed it so much I ordered a sandwich to go for the next day, and it was just as amazing. Everything was finely cut, thoughtfully put together, and absolutely delicious. They really know what they’re doing here, and it shows in every bite.

I loved it the first time, back again in a week. I love that I don’t have to buy fries if I don’t want to.

Italian necktie and a Cuban.
Such fresh ingredients and deep flavors in the meat, wasn’t busy when we stopped in Saturday evening.
My one and only critique would be light spicy mayo on the Italian Necktie next time, the last bite was mostly all mayo BUT the bread was so crispy yet light and fluffy I really can’t complain much. So happy I got to try, as the lady at the register said “everything is good” on the menu and I believe it! Super filling too!
Very clean and open layout inside. 2 pinball machines, very friendly lady at the front

This was our first stop leaving the airport and we are so glad we found this place! I ordered the pastrami sandwich and my boyfriend had the “full pork press”. Both of them were delicious! Definitely recommend this place!

2025 WINNER In my opinion.. Out of 14 burger stops so far this week/competition, Sandy-O’s entry burger is literally the BEST SO FAR! [Pictured] It even beats the FONDUE BURGER! Which I didn’t think was physically possible.
