I loved this place when I was a kid. I moved away 23 years ago, and I was overjoyed to find it still open and still the same. The best bread with sesame seeds, excellent antipasta, delicious pizza. A little pricey, but very good.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to be honest. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The food lacked flavor, the silverware was not clean, and the service was poor. We spent about $80 and felt it wasn’t worth it. I spoke with the owner hoping for understanding, but the interaction felt dismissive and there was no effort to make things right. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future customers.

Was a special anniversary dinner and the service was fabulous. The lasagna was delicious so was the sautéed mushrooms. A memorable evening. OMG the portions are very large. Love this restaurant.

I really enjoyed my meatball sandwich. My wife was disappointed with her lasagna. She said that there wasn’t any ricotta in it.
It looked delicious though.

You guys need to renovate somethin. BUT the drinks food and family restaurant vibe works great. Split bar restaurant, indoor/outdoor seating options gives everyone the ability to pick their spot to eat their meals.

I just got a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and a glass of wine. I was a little disappointed with the pizza, but I’m very picky about pizza. I felt it was too thick and the crust was not very inspired. Basically, it was an average pizza by San Diego standards, but it was okay. However, I probably wouldn’t go back for pizza, but I might return for some other menu items, many of which looked quite appealing.
