Victoria and her team gave my husband and I the most perfect wedding this weekend! Every detail was amazing! Everything turned out exactly as I had imagined. The food was outstanding and served in a timely fashion. With filet mignons perfectly cooked and everything served nice and hot we were extremely impressed! I cannot begin to say enough about Merrill’s on the Waterfront! I chose this location for both my ceremony and reception, and it was the best decision I could have made.
Victoria walked us through the entire process, patiently answering a million questions and even helping us coordinate a room block for our out-of-town guests. On the big day, Victoria and her team absolutely knocked it out of the park. She exceeded every expectation, bringing my vision to life and executing every detail perfectly. She was on top of everything all night!
The wait staff was attentive and efficient, the bartenders were amazing, and the entire night went off without a hitch. Thank you, Merrill’s, for the dream wedding, and a huge thank you to Victoria for your phenomenal work!

We hosted my sister’s baby shower at Merrill’s, and everything was absolutely perfect! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the entire staff was wonderful—so friendly, courteous, and attentive. The restaurant was spotless and beautifully maintained. Communication was excellent from start to finish; every call and email was answered promptly and professionally. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Merrill’s for any special event or just a great meal!

Group of us came to try out their brunch. Nice cozy atmosphere right on the water. Started with the mimosa flights. Glasses were pretty small maybe 2oz each. All of the flavors were good though. Solid selection of food choices. The food was average/decent. Nothing was great or amazing. Ended with a couple martinis which were good. Service was great. Overall good service and atmosphere but food was just average. Not sure I would go back again for brunch. Maybe try again for a lunch in the future.

Merrill’s is a classic seafood restaurant and bar overlooking a working pier with seating outdoors in good weather, a banquet room for special events, and an open area for the bar and dining. On a Friday night, the place was filled with ppl noisily enjoying their time. The wait staff had their hands full attending to everyone. Bread baskets with honey butter were brought early. The most frequently ordered entree by our party was the Shore Tour. It consists of two stuffed, butterflied shrimps, a small slice of cod, and four tender sea scallops baked in a bowl topped with seasoned bread crumbs. Sides were added. Most of us requested the garlic mashed potatoes, the coleslaw or green beans. The bowls were way too much for the sides. Additional orders were Calamari and a Smashed Burger.

My wife and I had our wedding at Merrill’s and it was an incredibly fun and beautiful event. We had originally planned to have an international wedding, but but had to change plans just 5 months before the wedding because of family health issues. We wanted to keep our original wedding date, so we had find somewhere to do it and plan a whole new wedding in just 5 months. Merrill’s had an opening on the same date as our original wedding so we chose to go with them. We were connected with the events manager, Victoria, and she was incredibly helpful, understanding, patient, and kind throughout the entire wedding planning process. The day before our celebration, we dropped off decorations and sent over some images explaining how we’d like things to be set up. On the day of our celebration, everything looked beautiful and was set up exactly how we described. The event went incredibly smoothly and every single one of our guests had an amazing time. The drinks were STRONG, the food was quite good, and the restaurant staff was friendly, polite, and extremely helpful. Merrill’s was absolutely the right choice and we’re so glad we chose to have our event there. We would highly recommend Merrill’s to anyone considering having a wedding, anniversary, or larger party in this area.

The place is beautiful but unfortunately they don’t know how to make a drink, sent mine back 3 times. The food was awful, it wasn’t fresh, I would bet my life it was frozen and heated. They can’t cook, make drinks, have 1 person working there doing 3 jobs. The bill was unbelievably expensive for the portions sizes. I will never go back there again, so disappointed. Definitely not a place to celebrate any functions at. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Brunch was 10/10 – would highly recommend for brunch/dinner and also have beautiful function spaces. Staff were polite and attentive and the managers Dave and Victoria are great ! The other manager Shauna is the mvp ! Keeping the buffet beautiful and filled at all times. This place thrives because of the hardworking employees. Can’t wait to go back
