Lunch with my brother and had a fantastic experience!
We each ordered the French onion soup and split a beef on weck.
The soup was outstanding! A deliciously different variation of an old standard! The cheese has a perfect crisp to it and the broth had an unusual sweetness to it that set it apart from all the others, and above most!
The kummelweck roll was soft and had the traditional salt and caraway sweet mixture on top. The beef was tasty, I just wish it were a little more tender.
Our server, Bradley, was the star of the show. This gentleman was attentive and on point!
Great experience!
The atmosphere is great. It’s peaceful and quiet. The booths give a sense of privacy unlike a lot of of other places with standard booth styles.
For appetizer we had the Caprese dip. If you love cheese, this is a dish for you.
My wife had the honey glazed salmon. I didn’t get to try it but she said she fell in love with it. She couldn’t finish it all in one sitting so she took it home and ate the rest the following morning for breakfast!
I had the rodeo burger. An 8oz single patty made with a mixture of meats (I forgot but it included brisket). It was very tasty. I didn’t want to ruin the flavor by adding ketchup or other condiments so I ate it as is. The bun felt a little stale..? Maybe it was just the type of bread used which I haven’t had before. My only complaint is that I wish it had a bit more barbecue sauce, not enough to make it drip in my plate with every bite but enough so it doesn’t feel dry with every bite. Regardless it was a delicious burger.
For drinks I had a something daiquiri. It was sweet yet strong. I forgot the full name 🙁
My wife had a Bee’s Knees. It was on the sour side so I wasn’t a fan of it but she loved it.
Overall I give this place a 10/10. I want to try their brunch menu next time I visit.
The food? Absolutely top tier. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich (tossed!) and it was out of this world crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. My husband got the Rodeo Burger and said it was one of the best he’s had in a long time. We each had drinks to go along with our meals, and they were just as impressive, balancing everything perfectly.
What really stood out was the consistency—delicious food, great drinks, wonderful service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. Whether it’s a date night, dinner with friends, or a casual meal with family, this place truly checks every box.
Safe to say, we’ll be regulars from here on out. Highly recommend this gem!
