This is my go to place for wings. I’ve had their burger and cheese curds too. Both delicious. Tried wings at lots of other places, but these are my favorite. Also, the staff are very nice, and one time helped me carry the food out to my car. I whole heartedly recommend this place.

LOVE this place! We came for an early Friday dinner and are SO glad we did! I got the honey garlic chicken tacos per recommendation from our waitress. These were the best tacos I’ve ever had! Breaded, honey garlic chicken was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy;slaw was crisp and creamy; lots of feta cheese and the aioli was phenomenal!! They are HUGE so I can’t say much about the French fries because I only ate one of them.
My husband got the chicken bacon avocado melt which was also delicious. Lots of bacon and creamy avocado. He also liked the onion rings.
We got the bruschetta appetizer which was flavorful and SO SO good. This place definitely does flavor right!
We started inside but went outside on the patio because it was such a beautiful day. The patio has plenty of tables and also a couple of patio furniture pieces with an outdoor fire pit and beautiful flower baskets. It was the perfect setting for a delicious meal.
Plenty of parking in the large parking lot g lot. Excellent, friendly service.

Had the Cheeseburger salad and it was amazing. The atmosphere is great especially for Monday. Love the patio! The servers are awesome. On point for sure! Keep up the great times!!!

There are some decent options in the menu. Pulled pork had decent flavor but was a bit dry. Pizza was pretty good. Decent beer and drink selection. I will probably come back to try some more of their food.
Employees were laid back to the point that the service of new customers suffered.
Frequent customers will grab their seat, order their food without thinking, laugh and chat to the employees for a while.
Meanwhile new customers are standing at the entrance unsure if they can seat themselves, struggle looking through the menu without any recommendations from staff, and sit around waiting to get a refill, box or a check because employees are too busy interacting with other employees or regulars.

Randomly pick this place for my mom’s birthday celebration because it was a decent location for everybody to meet with 10 to 12 people for chicken. It was 4:00 in the afternoon…not busy at all … Still it took a good 10-15 minutes to get a drink filled?? Just really bad service. The bartender was counting money, clearly saw we all needed drinks but continued to do her thing. They were prompt at putting the table together for the 12 of us, most of us ordered the broasted Chicken special. It was a joke…lol chicken wasn’t bad but the sides were less than an ice cream scoop, dressing corn and potatoes. And everybody’s was lukewarm to cold the waitress was young she never came back to check. There’s a lot of good places to go for chicken w good service….this is not one of them unfortunately.

This is a nice place to stop for food and drink. Kid friendly. They have great daily food specials. The wings are very good imo and recommend the Cajun Dry Rub. There is plenty of craft beer on tap and a nice revolving cocktail menu.

Very disappointed. We ordered two Friday Fish Fry dinners — shrimp for me and haddock for my friend.
The shrimp dinner was $25 and the menu states it comes with “a handful” of shrimp. What I received was barely any shrimp at all, nowhere near what you would expect for that price.
The potato salad was only half-filled, and the bread that came with both dinners was hard and stale.
We spent over $50 plus tip and expected a good-quality meal for that price. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing.
This was not worth the cost and we would not order the fish fry again.

I was going to feel bad about leaving this type of review, but looking over the past year, it looks like management/owners just don’t know how to fix things or don’t actually care. There have been bad reviews going back a couple years saying the same things. The food is low quality. The service was slow and inattentive. Don’t offer me a gift card; why would I go back? There’s plenty of other, better places in the Fox Valley I’d rather spend my money and not waste my time.

I live near StoneYard and have been a frequent customer for years because of the great food, drinks, and service. Unfortunately, my last few visits have been very disappointing.
A few weeks ago, I ordered the beef nachos and they were inedible. The beef was absolute slop. This week, I went again because a friend wanted to go and we were nearby. She ordered chicken nachos, which were not great, and I ordered chicken strips that were so tough I couldn’t even cut them with a fork.
I also ordered my usual drink, but the bartender mentioned she makes it differently than the other bartenders. I’m not sure why drinks wouldn’t be consistent across staff, especially for a regular menu item. If I wanted it made differently, I would have asked. She did offer to change it, but it felt awkward after the fact.
On top of that, there were fruit flies everywhere during our visit. I had to keep swatting them away while trying to eat.
I’m not sure if Stone Yard has new ownership, but it feels like ever since the menu change, the quality has gone downhill. This is especially disappointing because I used to really enjoy coming here, and it’s so close to my house. Sadly, as things stand now, I will not be returning.
