I came by today and a very nice young woman with blonde hair and many piercings greeted me at the register. I decided on take out and as I waited she made sure I was taken care of and even helped me decide on what cake to buy, along with other great places around the area since I’m new. She was very enthusiastic and made the entire area feel welcoming. I didn’t catch her name, but I’m grateful I chose to eat there since the food was also delicious! Her cake choice was spot on too. The cheesecake rocks. I will be returning soon!

Food was delicious! Service was excellent! We all had sandwiches and sweet tea; everyone was complimentary of their choice. They have pickles, mozzarella cheese, croutons, and banana peppers in small containers for you to choose, if you like.

My whole family dined in for the first time on christmas eve lunch, and let me say, we loved our experience at newks. Never have I met such a joyful staff to be working on Christmas eve. Our pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and soups were all incredible. Everything was timely, and temperature correct. Chocolate cake was to die for… but I think what really highlighted our experience was the staff. Gabby and Ben are the best. Hands down. From the second we walked in they welcomed us with open arms and warmth, they made sure we had anything and everything we needed as well as making sure we were taking an advantage of discounts and menu prices for our large party. They were johnny on the spot, and a great team. From taking orders, serving food, working in the kitchen. It was truly a great experience at newks. I only wish we had cash to give them after service…The whole family is still talking about it hours later… Merry Christmas Newks. We will see you many more times next year!!!!

I can’t believe I haven’t tried this place sooner. I ordered the Newk’s Q and potato soup combo. The service was great and the food was just as good. Nice they have a tea sweetened with Splenda.

Visited the restaurant for the first time and although pleased with the environment and service the specific food pairing I ordered was not the best choice. The pizza lacked a crispy crust as I was hoping for. I get it, they are not a pizza joint but the flavor profile was not what I was expecting. I decided to pair the option with a lobster bisque soup. It did not have the chunks of lobster as the Menu states and lock the vinegar flavor typically found in lobster bisque soups at other restaurants. I cannot say anything about the other items on the menu and my opinion is only for the two items that I ordered. I will try the restaurant again in the future.But definitely consider other options on the menu.

First time here. Chose Newks because we were looking for a salad joint and bonus, they had pizza combo options my husband was thrilled about.
Will definitely come back. The hard info: food was good, well cooked, looked good, had nice flavor. However, we learned we need to ask for the dressing on the side as it was pooled on the salads and our greens were soggy and wilted from it. A reminder for the front staff that a little smile goes a long way. It’s obvious when you don’t want to be at work.
Overall it wasn’t enough to keep us away and we enjoyed our time and meal!

With the wife , not a soul in the place except for whoever was in the kitchen area, you think if you hear a bell ring when you walk in there is a customer , wrong , tried the dumb kiosk to order didn’t recognize the half sandwich half soup meal, and still no one greeted us or even acknowledged there were customers in the place , well guess what ! Went to Parkside grill . Was GREETED by a person , was sat down and had an awesome meal with friendly staff , your loss Newks ! I have been going here since the 90’s and it’s sure not the same as it use to be . Good luck to you folks , I won’t be back

Yummy salad and sandwich, the lobster bisque wasn’t very flavorful. Definitely will return to try more items! The chili was very good but the chili mac looks nothing like the picture and is a very small portions do not recommend! Chili is very good.

Clean, family friendly, prompt friendly service, and nice outside eating area. They have a counter to order at and they give you a number to put on your table, you pick were to sit and they bring your food to the table when its ready. Make sure to visit the ’round table’ for toppings to add to your meal. Today was the first time we ever ate at a Newk’s. I had the Newk’s Q Pizza and my husband had Combo 1/2 Royal Sandwich and cup of the days soup lobster and crab bisque. The pizza is a good size personal (6 slices) or good to share with someone if you get sides. Crust was thin which was very nice could have been a little more crispy. Could use more tomato, next time I’ll order extra. Overall taste was very good. The 1/2 sandwich seemed a bit small in size, there was a good amount of meat on it, could have used more vegetables (now we know so next time will order extra lettuce and tomato), the bread was very good. The cup of soup was a good serving size and good taste and texture. The 2 meals and 1 coke was $20. I will eat here again.
