After wandering around the Leaf and Petal we decided to try this restaurant for lunch. There are 12 draft beers, signature cocktails, and wine but for some strange reason they don’t have iced tea. The menu is not extensive but you should be able to find something you like. The Village Quesadilla with steak was good. I missed I could have added mushrooms which would have made it better. The side salad was excellent. The sweet potato fries were good too. You can sit inside or outside.

Surf Hound was fun! The ambiance was very lively, with excellent indoor and outdoor seating options. Lots of options on the menu for everyone!
We went on their second day of being open and it was super busy. It took about an hour for food to come out, but we hope this improves with time.
Brussel Sprouts: 9/10.
Definitely one of the better items we had there and one of the better brussels sprouts we’ve ever had.
Nachos: 6.5/10.
Nothing to write home about. Could have made the exact same thing at home
Village Quesadilla with Birria Chicken: 9/10.
Well seasoned, crispy, and comforting!
The Gulfstream Crunch: 6/10. Not bad, but had a weird aftertaste for us.
Parking: Easy to find within a 5 minute walk of the restaurant. There’s a ton to do in the surrounding area!

We went tonight for the soft opening, and it was amazing. Pretty unique blend of classic american and asian fusion. We had the chicken tender appetizer, which had a very thick and unique batter, which was amazing, with a housemaid buffalo sauce, Fried grouper sandwich and crab fried rice. Everything was amazing and it’s pretty reasonably priced. Definitely recommended.

We got the Driftwood catch served with a side of ketchup and the fish and chips. The fish was dryer then the driest piece of chicken breast. Hopefully they were having a bad chef night. Wasted money

We had the best experience at Surf House! They were apparently short staffed, but we never would have known. Skylar was so attentive and pleasant as our server—even when we created some chaos (spilled drink, sent something back, etc). Everything was delicious! Highly recommend the Tuna Poke!

Food was fantastic. Shrimp fried rice and burger were great. The oysters were some of the best I’ve had. Very cool ambiance and the staff were all very attentive. Will definitely be back.

On Saturday 3 members of my family wanted to try this restaurant because we are new to the area. We arrived at 12:45. The guy who sat us walked to the first small table right inside the door and put the menus on the table and walked away. We are 3 regular size adults and he put us a table barely big enough for 2 people. He never came back and so we left! We watched him seat others but ignored us. Sad because we wanted to try this place because the food is supposed to be good but the first impression is bad!
