Mommas Pizzeria

Ordered 4 specialty pizzas, 1 deep dish pizza and garlic Parmesan wings for a Mother’s Day celebration. Online ordering was simple. They were very friendly and showed us the pizzas before we took them, even asked if we needed plates and silverware. Each pizza was delicious! We really couldn’t decide which we liked best! Wings were great too! We drove out of our way to pick these up and it was totally worth it! Definitely try them out, you won’t be disappointed!!

I’ve ordered from here delivery twice and pickup this last time. My first two experiences were great. Hot fresh wings. But it took an hour and a half to deliver and I live 2 blocks away. Tonight we ordered for pickup. They totally mixed our order up. An hour and half til it was ready. We arrived after 45 mins. Salad with no dressing. Wrong size wings. Wrong sauce ( they only provided ranch we asked for blue cheese as well). They offered to remake what we wanted but after waiting there 45 extra minutes for not even hot food, we aren’t in the mood. I doubt we will ever be giving them our business again.

I rarely give five pentagrams (stars), however Mommas Pizzeria makes one of the best pizzas I’ve had in years! The sauce, the crust, the cheese, baked to perfection! The only thing that I could see doing better would be to get spicier Italian sausage and pepperoni. The waitress was attentive and served well. I’m glad I found mammas. I’m coming back when I’m in the area. YUM

Called to ask if they still had 50 cent bone in wings they said that’s on Thursday. Called on Thursday to order my bone in wings for 50 cents check out and they were 75 cents. Not what I was told then got to the car and they were boneless. I’m over this and the staff changes so much that they can’t seem to train them well at all. We’ve gotten these for a long time and it always seems to be something with this place. Come on owners get your staff together or make it good for the customer when you’re wrong.

Defiantly not eating here ever again. I placed an order over the phone with a girl. When I got there to pick up my order 45 mins later like she said she informed me that my order was not in the computer. She found that it had been written down but not put in the computer. (Funny part was is that she was the person I talked to over the phone). She apologized put in my order said it would be another 45 minutes so I had to wait in my car. Did not get a discount or offered any kind of free breadsticks which normally a restaurant would do. (Granted I think she was new) but still I’ve worked in the restaurant industry before and in the mistake of the restaurant or worker you offer the customer money. It was also OUTRAGEOUSLY priced. 2 large pizzas and 3 appetizers for $81! I looked on their website and added it up myself it should’ve been more around $55. The fried pickles were not crispy and some of the breadsticks were burnt. I highly recommend staying clear of here.

I’ve never had the food. I’ve heard good things and wanted to try it for the first time but the dinning room is closed even though Indiana opened at 50% capacity three weeks ago. So I’ll just go to Mexico Lindo. They are open for dine in and obviously want the business. I doubt I’ll go back to Mama’s. If I want to eat at home, I’ll cook.

It was almost an hour to wait for mac n’cheese. It was ok, but certainly not worth the wait. The garlic bread was a toasted English muffin, not bread sticks as stated on the menu. Our meals didn’t come with silverware, they said they don’t usually give it out. We ordered take out bc we couldn’t dine in….. what else are we supposed to eat with?

While we were waiting, we witnessed a server calling to a stray cat, and then petting it. This cat came around to our truck and actually jumped in. The cat looks sickly, and not something I’d want anywhere near my food. (We own 5 rescue animals, 3 are cats, before people get judgmental about us not liking this cat.) I’d recommend the owner do something about it before there are more complaints and a potential health code violation.

If their curbside is any indication of what service would be like inside, I’m all set; we have no desire to go back.

Too many wonderful options here! First of all the deep dish Pizza is not only the best in our county. It is the best in all of the surrounding counties as well. This is a destination restaurant…Not just a pizzeria! The broasted chicken & pork chops are fantastic. Last night we had the pollack fish dinner and it was also fantastic. The theme pizzas are very good such as the touchdown and stuffed crust. Sandwiches, Appetizers, coney dogs , Dessert are all great. They serve a nice selection of beer and the atmosphere in the place is fun with lots of TV’s and friendly staff. Great Job on creating this wonderful place for us to all enjoy and we are happy that they do delivery when we can not make it out.

I was ordering a thick crust pizza, I know the price was high enough for a nice thick crust. The only part that was thick was the edges, the rest of the pizza was paper thin. Can’t justify price for such a thin pizza, guess I am still on the hunt for a good hometown pizza.

So firstly, if u like cheese, pleeese enjoyyy! But they have great sides! Multiple choices!i liked the garlic parm breadstick works! their dipping sauces are on point! I really enjoyed marlainia and franks hospitality! They ensured the night was well, even tho they was busy. Im thankful to have gone there! Hope to visit again! Love!
