Nice place to stop if you’re traveling on I-81. The lunch menu is reasonably priced considering most items come with a side and a drink. I had the special (a jalapeno bacon burger) with waffle fries and had leftovers. The restaurant is in a nice old building with a new covered back deck and a lower patio. Friendly and helpful staff too.

Drove from Richlands Va to Glade Springs Va which is about 1 hour away and stopped at Tavern 13 for lunch. What a great resturant. The place is immaculate, the atmosphere great and the staff was warm and welcoming. This is a gem in Glade Springs surrounded by a picturesque town square. The two of us had fish and chips and we received a lot more food than we could eat at a more than reasonable price. If you travel to Glade Springs this is the place to go for a great meal

Stopped here for lunch. The menu is diner fare. I had a cheeseburger. It was probably the best burger I’ve ever had. The meat was wonderfully seasoned and juicy. The bun was bread worth eating with the inside grilled to perfection. The restaurant is located on a picturesque town square not far off I81. The breakfast sounded good so I’ll be making the trip back to try that.

We stopped by for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Watched football on multiple tvs and place has a very comfortable vibe. Restaurant was very clean, had real good prices on food and drink, and a very pleasant staff.

My girlfriend and I really wanted to try this place out after hearing such great things. We checked the hours and were excited to know that we could stop by for a date night. However, once we sat down the waitress informed us that the kitchen was closed, an hour before for the restaurant itself closed. To our knowledge there was no where that said the kitchen would close a lot earlier than the actual restaurant. Would have loved to try the food but unfortunately I do not think we will be back.

Can’t begin to find the words to express my gratitude in finding this hidden gem! From small talk with fellow patrons and the amazing young lady that helped us, I felt right at home. Coming from a small town myself, you realize how important it is to have places like this that still exist. To heck with all the big corporate chains. I’ll share my hard earned money with these fine people any day. Can’t wait to be back on our next visit

Okay, that Crack cake is a must! The cherry chipotle fried pork skins are also great. Friendly folk in a small town since 1909. Bus drivers and Truckers, definitely check this place out of traveling through this area.

We decided to try something new and stopped here for lunch. The food was fantastic, the service excellent and price on point. I don’t leave a lot of reviews but Tavern 13 deserves it! I highly recommend. We went back 2 weeks later with a larger group. YUM!
