This place is good to grab a slice and go on with your day. The slices are huge but it needs a little cleaning the establishment. Flavor is not there also.

What can I say… it’s Benny’s. I went to Virginia Tech and remember Benny’s opening while I was there. We always hit Benny’s after a night at the bar and I have fond memories there. While my family was traveling at staying near JMU, I saw there was a Benny’s near by and had to take my wife and daughter there. They were blown away and it was cool going full circle from my party days, to my family days eating the largest pizza my daughter had ever seen. She ate a whole slice on her own!

Ok….so….. stopped by here simply because I saw a kid with a slice of pizza as big as his head!
Not even lying!
Service was good, the young lady taking our order was nice and polite….so, yeah. *

Didn’t take long to get our food and it tasted good. Nothing to really jump in your face about, but it’s pizza…..had a good flavor and the crust was really nice! *

Price was reasonable…..$12 for both of us to eat. I can live with that! *

I didn’t see the bathroom so no star for that.
And ….it’s a college town, so the atmosphere was……eh….. college like…lol.
No star.

Overall – 3 ⭐’s and yes I’d recommend going not only for the food but the experience of eating a slice of pizza as big as your head! AND……they make them as big as a car tire, too…… plenty of pizza for a party or game day!

Go here!

This place has fantastic tasting pizza and you would not believe the size of one slice of pizza because a whole pie is 28 inches wide! I had a great experience having a piece of pizza that was macaroni and cheese with bacon flavored which I’ve never had before and I would highly suggest trying it out!

Pizza flavor was nothing special. Expensive for sure. There is no fountain drink
They do have bottles and can of different drink but crazy that they don’t have ice for the drinks for costumes. It’s a one time only.

OMG, one size pizza! This is not a pizza for you and your mom. This pizza is for a basketball team. It was delicious. We were passing through and someone recommended. It was delicious and worth it for $40, compared to a 16″ large pie. This is 28″ pie. They do offer slices.

It’s hard not to like a 28″ pizza!

Luckily Benny Sorrentino’s’ doesn’t do anything to change first impressions.

Like most Valley pizza the crust tends to be underdone. Being a former “Heathen Yankee” I grew up on real New York pizza, so it’s a bit unfair for me to ding them for putting out a product that appeals to the taste demographic. But for my taste, the oven temperatures need to be higher to make the crust crispier. (They will cook the crust crisper upon request)

The sauce is good and not overly sweet; the cheese is a tasty mozzarella, liberally applied.

They source quality ingredients, from the flour to the meats and cheeses, the flavor comes through in their products.

Pricing readable considering the portions.

Staff is friendly, competent, and a genuine pleasure to deal with. Owners take note, you need to give props to your people.

The restaurant itself has limited indoor seating; outdoor seating is available on beautiful days.

Being in downtown, it’s less than a two-minute walk to Massanutten Regional Library; I typically grab a slice to go and walk over to sit in front of the library.

Benny’s is a great place to have, whether grabbing a slice to sit outside and people watch, or taking a pie home.
