I ordered rice and rasam through DoorDash, and what I got was absolutely disgusting. I found a DEAD COCKROACH floating in the rasam. This is beyond unacceptable and completely unhygienic. It ruined my entire dinner and even gave me vomiting sensation.

How can a restaurant serve something like this? This is a serious health hazard. Totally shocked and extremely disappointed. NEVER ordering from here again.

Incredible Indian food. Great portions for lunch and very fresh. The lunch menu is $12.99 to $13.99 and comes with everything.
Mango and sweet lassi available as well as a full bar with beer and wine. Run to this place

Felt something was off the moment I stepped in. The place was completely empty and we were the only ones there. I still went ahead and ordered the Mysore masala dosa but it turned out to be a total letdown. It was drenched in oil. You can literally see in the video how greasy the food and the plate were. Honestly just sad and irritated. Definitely not coming back here.

We used to love Vindu. We had friends from Irving leave all the choice restaurants in Irving and asked them to join us at Vindu. 5 pm Sunday. I would love to say anything was good but sadly I cannot. We ordered lassi – came with no sugar. The server said help yourself to sugar. Then we ordered mixed pakora, no taste no sauces included, and a very small plate enough barely for one person, we ordered Manchurian corn and gobi, both taste was awful, we ordered choley bhature. It was boiled chickpeas and Bhatura was awful. This used to be my favorite food in their original California location. Very disappointed. We ordered yoghurt rice. Where as the tempering was good came with North Indian style tasteless Paapad and no pickles. Till we asked. All the sides we had to ask. The chai for the table arrived cold. It’s a good thing we had a good friendly not so hungry group. We were the only table. No reason for not being served well. No one came to fix or listen to complains. Take it or leave it type. Very saddened to see one of my favorite restaurants gone down. Hope the irving one is better.

This place has the best dosa and rasam! The overall quality of all foods is great. I regularly do delivery and takeouts, and they’ve always delivered on the flavor and quality!

The ambiance could be slightly better if the place smelled nicer and looked a bit brighter.

One of the best restaurant in Dallas and I bet on this. Amazing food quality.
We visited here for the first time after all the reviews we saw on Google and to be very honest we were here for 3 days in Dallas and I visited 3 times in a row because of the food quality and service . I was looking for authentic South Indian food and I bet on this they serve you exactly as per your expectations. Dosa, Medu vada, idli, punugulu, chicken tikka masala, paneer butter masala and chicken 65 are worth trying . Thanks to Prem who helped us a lot in making the right choices . Cook is really great and whatever you are being served is authentic in its own way. I’m gonna visit this place again for sure may be next month. Thank you again .. 🙂

I freaking love their lamb biryani, goat korma, or the naan is also fresh and off the chain. Any time it rains, or I am sick, I come here for comfort food. The owner is so friendly and will chat with me while im waiting:) and the buffet is thr best way to try new foods

Best Indian Buffet!! Must try their chicken tikka masala and Naaans. I have tried almost all the items in the menu and Buffet!! The Tandoori chicken is so fresh and well cooked! I must say its a fine dine-in cuisine for birthday events and small parties!

Been seeing and passing this place for years- decided to stop here for date lunch, and I’m glad I did.

Several lunch specials, for under $15! The spices and extras were also amazing, and I’m looking forward to exploring more of the regular menu options!

Being a Bengali, a foodie, and a top 10% food reviewer on Google Maps, I can attest this is one of the best Indian restaurant I came across in all of Texas!
We ordered a lamb biryani, chola bhatora. And diet coke. The server/owner (might be) is very polite and a gentleman. When we were asking him questions about the menu, we mentioned this is our first visit, so he went out of his way and gave us a full plate of Chicken 65 (like a chicken masala) which was super delicious and tangy (it had curry leaves and lime mixed in with all the Indian spice goodness).

Our lamb biryani was full of flavour with no hint of excess oil. The biryani came with two sides of Raita and Curry gravy (yum!). It is enough for two people or enough for 1 for a foodie like me! The chola bhatora was recommended by the server and we were not disappointed. It is truly enough for 2 people easily!

No Indian meal ever ends without chai! It was thick and flavorful although I would keep the prices a bit lower. Overall our experience here was exceptional and we will visit again for sure.
