HIGHLY unprofessional and RUDE! I visited this location back in December. I was given and charged for something that I DID NOT order. I went back as soon as I left because to google the store closed at 11. Well it was 1015ish and I pulled back up to the drive thru! THE LIGHTS WERE STILL ON! No one acknowledge me like at all. All they did were turn the lights off so I drove up to the window, was approached very rudely by some guy that shouldn’t be working there at all with that type of attitude! HE WAS YELLING WE’RE CLOSED AND USING PROFANITY. Super unprofessional! I explained to the young lady that she charged me for and gave me food that I DID NOT ORDER! She asked me to come back the next day. I explained that I can not do that being that I live in a different state! She called her manager and the manager said that I would be given a refund and free food. I DO NOT RESIDE IN LOUISIANA! My food was incorrectly done so I should have been serviced THAT DAY! Why would I have to make special arrangements when YOU GUYS MESSED MY FOOD UP! I disputed my charge and was denied because according to y’all I received food. YEAH FOOD THAT I DID NOT ORDER AND LET YOU GUYS KNOW THE ISSUE! This establishment is TRASH! This was my FIRST AND LAST time!

I love southern classic and I usually go to the Monroe location even though I stay in Ruston due to work. For the most part the food be good but the service is always horrible. Always being rushed when ordering, never is given total or repeated order back and always have to pull up to wait on my food after the horrible service. The workers are more concern about their personal conversations than listening to the customers. Ruston could take huge notes from the Monroe location on food service and atmosphere.

This was our first time eating here on 05/30/2021. We decided since, the line was shorter on the right side of the building if, you’re facing the restaurant from the front. We found out why.
The speaker was terrible. We couldn’t make out what the order taker was saying and it was very frustrating. It took a few times of repeating to make sure we were heard correctly.
We finally pulled up to the window and we asked for our order to be repeated.
The food was nice and hot. We had the fried chicken of course, fried okra and french fries.
The one box of fries was seasoned perfectly; the second box of fries hardly had any seasoning at all.
The fried okra was perfectly fried with no seasoning on it at all…no salt or Cajun seasoning.
The chicken was seasoned nicely with Cajun seasoning.
I would try them one more time to see if, it was just an off day or if, the food can be better like I was originally told. When, I’m back in the area, I may give them another try. I would recommend getting the speaker fixed as well.

I’ve always been a fan of southern classic, I love their chicken. Went by today and grabbed the classic combos for both plus extra sides and pies, which are so very good, I love their pies. Got back home and realized I had only two thirds of my order. We live so far out, I wouldn’t drive back in town, the roads have been frozen over for a couple days and still not completely clear out here. As much as I like their food, it will be a bit before I stop there again.

Great taste, not overly greasy, worth the couple of dollars more than other chicken places. Update it gets worse each time we go. Never get what we order. service is bad. Manager says they can make mistakes to deal with it…update again, if you dont want to wait 30 to 45 mins in drive thru dont stop here.

The food is great, the best fried chicken and fries in the Ruston, La area. The customer service can use some improvements. I’ve been there more than twice and never received a thank you. Never received a hello from the employees. Great food, atmosphere can be improved and improve customer service.
