The food is amazing here, this will probably be our new go to! We really appreciated the quick seating and quiet atmosphere. I got the carnivore omelette and it was sooo cheesy and yummy! My husband got the spicy skillet and loved it! We also shared one banana foster pancake and yum! Random, but the sour dough bread is the best, sooo crispy! Also drinks are incredible, we didn’t go in expecting to catch a buzz at 10am lol but the drinks sounded too good to resist! We both got a spicy bloody, then my husband got the Elvis and I got a mimosa! The service was meh but we’ll definitely be back for to try more off of that menu!

Went for the Friday fish fry and it was ok. The walleye was not good but the haddock was pretty decent. You do get a lot of sides so it is a filling meal. The clam chowder was thick and tasted very good but came out lukewarm.

Okay, so let me tell you about Rise & Shine Cafe – it’s like stumbling upon a hidden foodie paradise! We decided to check it out on a whim this morning, and boy, were we in for a treat. Their in-house smoked meats are out of this world, especially the corned beef hash – seriously, it’s the stuff of dreams! The potatoes? Crispy perfection. Those, combined with the melt-in-your-mouth corned beef means I’ll never even try to make it myself again. Plus, their Bloodies and caramel bourbon cold brew? Chef’s kiss. Plus, they’ve got this killer Friday fish fry lineup that’s got us already planning our next visit. Rise & Shine Cafe isn’t just a spot for breakfast – it’s a whole vibe. Trust me, you don’t want to miss out on this local gem! We will be back and plan to be regulars. Thank you for the amazing morning!

Great experience and delicious! Came on a recommendation by the Wisconsin Explorer. I had the Monte Cristo, my son had the caprese eggs Benedict, my other son had the banana foster pancakes, my dad had the biscuits and gravy. We all very much liked them! Great spot that I would have never thought of. The Caprese eggs Benedict looked amazing—he would not let me try it tho

Awesome breakfast & brunch cafe! Love the decor, they transformed the space from dimly lit, cozy Italian diner vibe (former Mama Mia) to a bright & airy, clean and family friendly space. We went as a family of four with two young children, we were seated right away and service was attentive the whole time. Food was amazing! Good portion, fresh ingredients and came out timely. Great vegetarian options. I’m a bit of an egg connoisseur and the over-easy eggs were perfect. We’ll be regulars here.

We visited Rise and Shine Cafe last Friday for brunch. There was no wait. They have great food and drink options. We ordered mini brisket tacos with avocado as a starter. They were out of sour cream. I ordered the half stack of chocolate chip pancakes, which was more than enough food for one person, even without sides. Their bloody mary is great. I also tried a margarita mimosa. Everyone loved their meals. The service was great too. I only took off 1 star for atmosphere. It’s in a strip mall with other businesses. There isn’t a lot of natural light, especially where we were seated at the very end in a raised booth. It would also be nice if they had outdoor seating.

By far one of the best meals I’ve eaten out with beautifully colorful and appetizing presentations. My plate was garnished with carved “rose” strawberries, full of delightful flavors and topped with sweet sauces. Much attention was given to details and taste. The sweet potato hash was amazing. The dining room is bright and clean with generous seating, big booths, and nice decor. Our server was attentive, friendly and wonderful and gave great suggestions.

I know people love this place. This was my first time. Stopped in for lunch with a friend.

Got seated right away. Water and beverages came out fairly quickly. My friend ordered an ala carte breakfast of eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, and pancake. I ordered the Brisket Bowl, that according to the menu is a “Chefs Choice”. The server we has “efficient”, but not very personable.

It didn’t take too long for the food to come out. The breakfast items looked very good, especially the pancake that looked so light that you might expect it to float away.

The Brisket Bowl, not so good. I eat lots of “bowls”, for all types of restaurants. Usually, the ingredients are all mixed up, you can move things around, and tell what is what. This bowl had so much melted swiss cheese on it, that it was more like a dense pancake. One big blob. Everything was stuck together. Super disappointing for my first time. Maybe I caught the cook/chef on a bad day. Maybe they left in on the stove too long. I’m not sure.

Perhaps I should stick to their breakfast items, and stay away from the specials. So many other restaurants to choose from. Don’t think I am likely to come back.

We went in yesterday, Oct 12,2025 for breakfast. There was only one other table there of 2. The service was slow, but we were patient. We ordered our food. I got the 2 eggs, cheese, choice of meat breakfast sandwich with the cubed potatoes. It took a long time to get our food especially compared to any other restaurant that I’ve been too, while they are busy. I ordered my eggs over medium but it came over hard. The potatoes were room temp. The bacon- room temp along with the sour dough toast I ordered. The toast wasn’t buttered along with the English muffin my fiance ordered. So cold that the butter on the table didn’t melt at all! Server never came back until my fiance was almost done eating. I at all around the outside of the sandwich as the center had hard yoke(yuck), and the potatoes weren’t worth eating at all! The server finally came back and says, ” everything’s good so far?” I said, no. I expressed my experience. She apologized and returned with our bill apologizing again saying, ” I would like to take something off the bill for you but there isn’t a manager here to do it. First and last time going there. Maybe it was an off day, but it literally had no one else there. I can’t imagine going when it’s busy.

Amazing. Unmatched atmosphere, friendly staff, reasonable wait times. And the FOOD… 10/10 if you like imaculate dishes, and vibes. New flavor combinations that, even after my 34 years, still surprised me. Keep up the good work!
