BEST WEDDING EVER!!!!! Our son James and his bride Amber were the first to have their wedding held at Jamar and Nicole’s catering hall. Jamar, Nicole and their staff worked so hard to make the celebration extra special. We were treated like family. Great attention was given to every detail and they incorporated the couple’s theme into the decor. The food was amazing and plentiful. Something for everyone. Rave reviews received from family and friends. The fried chicken was the best they ever had; better than Hattie’s. The BBQ chicken was so delicious and fell off the bone it was so tender. The brisket was enjoyed by all. The sides were too numerous to mention but the mac and cheese was to die for. Make sure to try the collard greens. We will certainly be coming back to their restaurant when we are in town.

Service was customer centered and very responsive. Food was spot on, delicious and flavorful. Well worth the stop and the cash spent. I cannot wait to go back again. Collard greens and spicy cabbage are a taste sensation. Buttermilk fried chicken breasts and jerk chicken were equally fabulous. Did not get chance to grab a bite of the sweet potato pie though, maybe next time.

Its a friendly staff that wants to provide you with delicious food, and that is exactly what they do. The Ribs are absolutely amazing and they give you so much to eat that you wont be able to finish it. There chicken is tender and falls of the bone. I would highly recommend this place anyone who wants to feel satisfied with what they have eaten. The price reflects the quality and quantity that you receive. You will not regret it.

First I’ll simply list the things I wasn’t fond of. Cold (intended) cornbread, sweet and clumped as opposed to creamy mac & cheese, the overall cleanliness & neatness and empty napkin container at the table. With this said it could have just been busy and the cornbread and mac were good. Just not to my liking is all. As for what I enjoyed, there were a few things. I mainly based this review on two of them. The delicious jerk chicken and friendly staff. The only other thing I would like to add is the drink options. Only soda as of our visit. I would think bottled water would have made the cut. Ultimately it was a good experience and worth driving out to try it.

I arrived 30 min before close and the staff seemed very irritated I was there. Waited a long time for the people before me to get served meanwhile they were telling the other customers how they were out of all their sides except for 3 including corn bread. The staff seemed very unorganized as to who had what and who paid. Asked for an iced tea only to be told they were out of cups. They ran out of rice when getting my meal so they were scraping the bottom of the pan. The food seemed expensive and I didn’t even get the amount of sides you’re supposed to get. I don’t know what they put in their coleslaw but I instantly spit it out. I had a very strange flavor. I wrote a review on fb and then had the owner write a review after me saying I had a secret agenda and that I must be someone who just writes bad reviews on every place. He then texted me the same thing and I don’t know how he got my number.

This place will satisfy your BBQ craving. They’re only open Thurs-Sun, and the days they are open forget about going right when they open at noon because nothing will be ready to serve. Usually it’s a long wait for your food, and when you call ahead they still won’t make anything until you get there because they’re too worried about no-shows… and sometimes they run out of what you want… But you’ll put up with it and you’ll be back again because the food is that good.

Amazing home cooked southern soul food. This place is a real gem. I could write a big review about how amazing everything is but forget about that, just go try it out for yourself. If your mother was from the south, could cook, and was black, this would be her kitchen and you would be fat and happy.

This review is for my visit in May. On my way to Niagara Falls and stayed at Binghamton for the night. Had Jrama’s for dinner, we ordered the ribs and fried chicken. Amazing food, and absolutely love the candied yams. Extraordinary service too!

My friend and I went knowing this place was known for it’s good BBQ and a friend had recommended it as the place he had to go to every time he visited. The food was outstanding!. everything was delicious!!! from the BBQ to the side-orders. to the corn bread cake!
