The best Thai restaurant in the area.
Every dish we tried was with a lot of flavour. The curries and soups are so rich and delicious, and so are all the other dishes.
We didn’t want it to finish so we took some take away also with us
The service was also great.
We will definitely return.

The best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to! This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food they serve is so delicious. I’ve dined in and gotten take out several times, and it’s always amazing. The staff here are so friendly and nice too!

Jaidee Thai is far and away my #1 favorite restaurant I’ve yet to visit. Always a 5 star meal, no matter what dishes we chose. It was the 1st thai restaurant I’ve ever been to and still the best without comparison. I’ve never had a single dish that wasn’t prepared perfectly. Everything i have had there is either unique to Jaidee or a better version of than I’ve had anywhere else. There isn’t a single thing ive had that I wouldn’t highly recommend. My favorite aspect of frequenting Jaidee is the fact that they’ve constantly got specials added to the menu that are either new for me, or favorites that I’m making a special trip to make sure I get. It’s the type of place where you can order something that you’ve never tried and it’s gonna be amazing every single time. Whether you like super spicy food like me, or you like no spice…they’ll make everything the way you ask(including, but not limited to, substitutions for food sensitivity or allergies). I cannot recommend Jaidee enough.
Top things i would recommend:
Appetizer
Fried dumplings(every single time)
Crispy papaya salad(when on special)
Basically anything thats on special
Main menu
Pineapple fried rice
Green curry(perfect with salmon)
Massaman Curry(always with crispy duck)
Best specials ever
Osso Bucco(usually prik pao)
Green papaya salad(favorite thing ever)

Excellent food, atmosphere, and service! I went with my family and we enjoyed everything about this place! The food is really amazing and perfectly seasoned, you can dial up and down the spice options. There are a lot of vegetarian options available and the staff are sensitive to any allergies you inform them off.

I understand Delivered food is not going to be on the same par as eating in house. However everything we got was overcooked, noodles, rice, the mango desert, the mango was soggy!!! EVEN THE TAPIOCA PEARLS WERE OVERCOOKED!!!! And ontop of that the bubble tea was 70% ice cubes. The Pork Buns were just the dough shaped like a taco and stuffed full of soggy pork and a sad cucumber slice. The chicken was dry and tough, and they never pulled the tails off the shrimp for my soup. They just dumped frozen shrimp into the broth, last I checked you’re not supposed to have to dig into your soup and dismantle your food.

(to further expand the shrimp was at the bottom, when I got it was wrapped in noodles which was shocking when I got a crunch I had to spit out my food to find out what it was and found the tail, I got my soup in a tall container and could not see them. So for delivery if you’re going to serve them like that remove the tails a less careful person could have choked. Also I know all they did was dump frozen shrimp into the broth because if it had been prepared like the rest it would have been chewy; it was the only properly cooked meat in the entire meal.)

Ontop of that my sister got sick from her dish. Seriously. My iron stomach is likely the only reason I’m not living on the toilet right now.

They had no quality control when it came to this order and
am hoping to get a partial refund because I don’t want to deny my delivery driver their tip which they were so grateful for.

Honestly the only good thing from this place was the driver.

I’d like to add that food we got looked nothing like the photos and I am sorry to the owner who has to read this you seem to really proud of your food.

Please check in with the staff, everything was so disappointing. We were celebrating and hoped trying out this place would be a treat. I’d like to add that I would have LOVED to have visited this place but right now I’m house bound. Maybe when I’m not I’ll give this place another try but I’m never ordering from delivery again.

@ the owner for your last comment I do not need to have had tia food to know that my chicken isn’t supposed to be tough and rubbery, that my mango should be tender not soggy, and that my noodles should not be close to returning to their original dough. Take some resposnisblity for your lousy food.

It’s a Hidden Gem in Altoona, they have some great dishes, full of flavors! I tried Mango Salad, Mango curry, Pineapple fried rice, and everything tasted perfect. A nice environment to enjoy lunch/dinner. Online shows lunch menu, but they don’t offer lunch menu. Plenty of parking, great service!

Fantastic food! A must-try, even if you’ve never tried Thai food before. Meals are always fresh and tasty whether you eat in person or order it to-go. Prices are fair for the HUGE portions (some entrees are two meals’ worth!). Service is prompt. Lots of vegetarian options as well!

If you’ve never tried Thai food before, the menu can be a little overwhelming! Servers are great about answering questions (I’ve even asked other patrons for recommendations). Here are some of our recommendations/favorites based on what we’ve tried:

-I think anybody who has never tried Thai before should definitely order the Thai tea. It’s excellent.

-If you like pulled pork BBQ, give the pork buns appetizer a try, they’re like BBQ pork sliders.

-The keow-nam soup has little dumplings in them that are similar to ones you’d find in a wonton soup, but the soup is more garlicky and flavorful than wonton soup. The tom yum soup is also very flavorful and worth trying.

-The spicy basil (with “regular” rice and fried rice) are our go-tos! I first heard about this dish from a customer who was a regular. I’ve added a picture of it.

-Curry dishes are also very good! The dish pictured with the creamy green sauce is the “green curry” meal. The dish pictured with the brown sauce and topped with peanuts is the Rama, which is a yellow curry dish (if you like peanuts/peanut butter, you would enjoy this dish!!). Try tofu as your protein for something different!
