This might be my new favorite taco spot. The workers were nice and got our food out so quickly. I didn’t have too much, but was really impressed by the flavor of my tacos. Highly recommend getting cheese with it as well. I’m excited to go back and try some more!

Found out that this restaurant has beef tongue in their menu and as I was craving for beef tongue burrito, I decided to give it a try. I was lucky that they have daily deal on burrito on Wednesday so I got burrito and a fountain drink for just $12. Man, I did not expect it to be this good. The tortilla was crispy from the outside and still soft inside. The meat is flavorful. I personally think there was a bit too much onion in it so next time I will have to tell them. They have salsa bar where you can choose what flavor of salsa you want and I tried the hot and hottest one and they are both delicious. I also ordered margarita and it came out much better than I expected, flavorful and you can taste the alcohol (most restaurants in Utah sadly make drinks taste like juice). The restaurant is also more spacious than I thought and has a good vibe. I will definitely be back to try their other foods

It is exactly what it says, beer and tacos. I had the chicken, al pastor, and beef tongue. All were very good. I loved their salsa bar, too. The orange salsa is super spicy, but it’s so good. I need to come down and try more.

Just ordered take out, had to go inside to pick it up and it was clean and well organized. Pretty empty, (that was expected for the time of day) looked as though they could accommodate quite a lot. Asada in my burrito was the best I’d had in a while. Habanero salsa is delicious and wonderfully spicy too. Would definitely recommend!

Service at the front wasn’t very welcoming. No greeting and not very friendly, which honestly makes a big difference. Hospitality is a big reason people return to restaurants, and that felt lacking here.
The quesabirria and al pastor tacos were both pretty bland and nothing special. If you’re looking for really flavorful pastor, I still prefer El Morelense.
On the bright side, the chicken quesadilla was really good and the standout of the meal — I’d come back just for that.

First time trying this place. Unfortunately my birria ramen had no caldo, and the asada quesadilla was just cheese with no asada. Order accuracy needs improvement.

Since they opened not long ago, their menu has expanded, and I for one am excited to try every single thing they offer, twice.
This unassuming Mexican restaurant offers an incredibly variety of all your classic options.
From carne asada street tacos, to shrimp burritos, vampiros, birria everything, and of course nachos, Gordo’s has what you are craving.
One thing to take into account is the fish bowl that is the restaurant itself.
The whole front and side are glass walls, which reberberate sound like mad, so if you go during peak hours, you won’t be able to hear yourself think much less than the person/people you came with.
Which also makes it hard to hear when your order number is called to go grab your food.
It is still well worth the noise to enjoy the treats they pack into each dish.

I can’t get enough of Gordo’s Tacos and Beer! Every taco I’ve tried is incredible, and the staff always makes you feel welcome. I come here every week and it never disappoints. Definitely one of my go-to favorites!
