Stopped here for a quick lunch and was not disappointed! Situated in a quaint but beautiful little village, this place is an overlooked gem, brimming with character and historical charm – oh and did I mention the food? Absolutely cooked to perfection seafood platter with a taste so special that I find myself writing this review. Service was amazing and the owner super welcoming. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to find great food and charming surroundings off the beaten track. Do it, you will not be disappointed!

A Louisiana gem! Stepping through the door of this establishment built in 1812, we were greeted by the owner as if long lost family. Fine cooking at fair prices, we enjoyed healthy food for those who wanted it and truly authentic Cajun catfish for the rest. Don’t miss this!

So, I would give them another shot because the food was good. 2 stars is for the service. Our server Elaine was super but all the staff was overwhelmed. Seems like they need more organization. And a faster kitchen. Maybe downsize the menu and have a few dishes that can be prepared fast and more efficiently.
