Probably my favorite Italian place in America. No lie. Food is super fresh and flavorful. We travel an hour every month or so to eat here and its worth it everytime.

It was my husband & I’s first time at Mimmo’s & we were not disappointed! Our server, Joseph was amazing and so kind! He had great recommendations and was attentive. Our pizzas and drinks were delicious. Would definitely recommend.

We ate at Mimmo’s two nights in a row while visiting. The first evening was good — we had the lasagna and pizza, and both were enjoyable enough that we decided to return the next night.

Unfortunately, the second visit was a very different experience. I ordered the chicken piccata, and it was extremely disappointing. The sauce wasn’t bright or balanced as you’d expect from a piccata. Instead, it tasted heavy and starchy, almost like thickened chicken broth, with none of the lemony depth or richness the dish should have. It was not enjoyable.

It was also my birthday, which made the experience more frustrating. I let our waitress know that the dish wasn’t good, but nothing was done to address it. There was no effort to adjust, replace, or even meaningfully respond, which felt dismissive.

Additionally, the night before we had been told that gnocchi could be prepared for us the following evening. When we returned, that was no longer the case, and again there didn’t seem to be much acknowledgment of the change.

The inconsistency between the two nights was surprising. The restaurant is clearly capable of decent food, but the lack of follow-through and service recovery made the second visit disappointing. We ate at Nemo’s two nights in a row while visiting. Came here today around 4:15 pm. (Saturday) and we were seated right away. The service was phenomenal and the food was even better! Garlic knots, bread and oil, pepperoni pizza, Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. I don’t know why this place is only 4.3 stars. It’s delicious food. Our server was kind and knowledgeable about the menu, brought us more refills and boxes. Bonus is we didn’t have to wait long for the check. Go here you won’t be disappointed.

Nice Italian restaurant in downtown Laurel! The food was good, not great and it was definitely pricey for the area. We did really like the ambience inside with a fountain in the middle of the restaurant. The booths definitely need to be replaced but we made it work. Service was good and we didn’t have to wait for a table. They have a private party room along with a large dining room. We were not disappointed!

We were looking for somewhere in Laurel with outdoor seating due to having our dogs with us while traveling.
Mimo’s was the perfect fit. They welcomed us and even brought extra water for our dogs. The food was flavorful and exactly what we were looking for. Braylynn, our server, was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

I absolutely love the remodel of the building. The food was so good. We had a chicken ceasar and the Sicilian pizza. I also had a whiskey mule, which is not on the menu, it was delicious. Each pizza is made with the utmost care, so it does take awhile. It is most definitely worth the wait. Just relax in the Italian ambiance and enjoy the experience. There is construction on the road of the building, so watch your step as you approach the building. Its also pretty dark at night, since the lighting is very spaced out on the streets.

If you are looking for authentic Italian food, this is not the place to go. From the beginning when they brought the bread and olive oil to the table, I could tell that the olive oil was watered down and not flavorful. . Restaurant was not overly busy once we were sat at table, we waited over an hour for our food so I was expecting greatness. My chicken piccata looked like a frozen TV dinner. Chicken was thin and rubbery. Looked like it had been microwaved. My husband‘s calzone was undercooked, when he cut into it was full of water, very doughy. We were very disappointed. We were not offered a refund or discount of any kind nor did the manager bother to come talk to us. I’ve never had a restaurant experience like this. we were quite puzzled. We paid for a meal left and went eat somewhere else.

We visited Mimmo’s Ristorante Pizzeria for lunch while touring Laurel. We enjoyed our meals very much! My wife ordered a Caesar Salad with chicken, and I had Penne Alla Caprese with shrimp added. My wife let me have a little of her salad (she ordered the big one). The romaine lettuce was fresh and crisp, the shavings of Parmesan cheese were robust and plentiful, and the dressing had an appropriate sharpness to it. As for my Penne Alla Caprese, the pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was flavorful but not overpowering. It was perfect for lunch. Our service was also quite good, and the unsweetened iced tea that came with my meal was crisp and refreshing.

Back for dinner and once again, a fantastic experience! Brittany gave us excellent, friendly service, making our evening even more enjoyable. We started with the indulgent Italian Garlic Rolls, knots of bread brushed with garlic butter and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese—they were absolutely delicious! For our main courses, my wife had the Penne Bolognese and I chose the Chicken Marsala. Both dishes were incredibly flavorful and generously portioned. We left feeling happy with everything—the service, the meal, and the atmosphere.

One of the best tasting pastas in the area. Super friendly service. Their bread and oil was amazing. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful. Good portion sized for a great price. I highly recommend this place and would come back.
