Absolutely amazing experience at Brando’s. I’ve been here years ago when they first opened, but moved away. We made the trip to celebrate my birthday here and it surpassed every expectation. The ambiance, food, drinks, service were all out of this world.
The service could not be any kinder, from the two hostesses, to the waiter, to the busers..all smiling and polite and very professional.
The food was so impressive. First they had agnolotti on the special menu which you just don’t ever see..and they were amazing. We got the porterhouse for two which was cooked perfect and great quality. And then the zabaglione was out of this world and again, so refreshing to see this on a menu!! And we got an excellent bottle of Nero off the wine list.
I wish we lived closer. But we will definitely be back soon! Thank you for such a great dining experience!

Haven’t been here for four years since moving out of NJ/AP and what can I say?! The place is still just top notch everything!!! Shout out to Vlad – fantastic exceptional service from start to finish – this kid is a gem! Got some of the menu OGs – meatballs, calamari, bolo, and the pasta forno which I have yearned for over the last four years (pro tip unravel the foil and let it sit and steam X10 min before you dig in – flavors meld and pop better when it cools a bit). Brando’s is hands down the best establishment in AP and it hasn’t changed a bit – still with consistent product, service, and atmosphere which is hard to come by these days. Love and miss you, Brando’s!!! Happy to see you are still delivering an outstanding experience.

The food was absolutely fantastic for myself and the other 4 guests in our party. The service from Vlad was top notch. He was a prime example of a top tier server at a restaurant and I recommend anyone coming here to request Vlad. My only problems I had were the French 75 was too heavy on the lemon juice and outdoor location could be better. The food and service though were top tier Italian cuisine.

Visited Brando’s for my friends birthday and WOW! We loved everything about this place.
We started with cocktails; my favorite was the dirty martini because of the blue cheese olives. YUM! They give you complimentary bread which comes with 3 spreads/dips. Definitely save some if you want to dip it into your pasta (pro tip lol)! Our server was knowledgeable about everything on the menu and didn’t even need to write our orders down so we were amazed when everything came out perfectly.
The pacheri vodka pasta was so fresh and full of flavor. Since I don’t eat meat, they were able to hold on the pancetta. They even sprinkle some fresh parm on top it was amazing. My friends also loved the pacheri bolognese. The calamari was one of the best I’ve had! Crispy and light with lemon juice over it… I’m salivating thinking about it. The caesar salad was pretty good too. For dessert, we tried their zeppoles which came with four powdered sugar and four cinnamon sugar which was perfect to share. My friends also loved their lil shot of espresso. They give you a little sugar stick to stir with too.
This spot is perfect if you’re craving authentic Italian food and you want a more upscale night! Date night, birthdays, family dinner. Loved the NOLA flare at this spot too. Would definitely return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The zucchini frites were absolutely delicious. Our servers were unbelievably attentive and helpful. I would not recommend for a quiet dinner as it did get a bit loud. You can opt to eat outside if weather permits for a quieter meal.

Brando’s is really nice. The food is very good. My only question is it worth the price! $22 for a cocktail!! Most dishes price in the upper $30-$40 range.
IMHO you can find similar food for more reasonable prices. Enjoyable but probably won’t be back … Unless of course they bring back the 2-foot breadsticks on the bar

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in New Jersey by far!! The food quality seems to get better every time I visit. The meatball insalata appetizer is my favorite starter, super tender and very unique. Pasta is always cooked perfectly and portions are generous. The servers are all so enthusiastic and nice. Highly recommend if you are visiting the area!

Had dinner here Saturday night. Place was crowded and a reservation is a must. Told them it was out anniversary when making the reservation and they put rose petals on the table, which was a sweet touch. Started with shrimp cocktail which had 4 huge shrimp but at $29, I’d pass next time. Had the dry aged porterhouse with asparagus and fries. Sides were excellent. Steak was very good, but not great. It was cooked medium as requested, but it wasn’t as good as top end steak houses in NJ or Philly, I’d give it a 7.5. The pistachio desert was definitely a 10. Spent just over $300 for 2 out us with 1 drink each. I’d go back again as the atmosphere and staff were great!

lovely place came here on valentine’s day with my boyfriend! really enjoyed the ambiance! the only downside was the steak. very overpriced meat would’ve been okay with the price if it tasted phenomenal. little to no seasoning and overcooked. the apps and bread were really good. would definitely come back for something other than steak.

After a tiring long day in my shirt and tie, I am scheduled to meet for dinner, and I’m late. I quickly get comfortable with a hoodie sweater, and still have suit pants and my overcoat. I understand what business casual is, 1. I was greeted with a sarcastic “are you looking for your parents? “
2. As I mentioned I was late. Had to find parking… Meals began to arrive, nothing was offered while I waited for my meal. Just sitting in front of water while everyone else was eating. If the waiter offered bread while I wait on my overpriced steak or even refilling my glass of wine, this post would not exist.
3. Don’t expect great service. Just a manager running around asking how’s the food how’s your service and run away before an answer. Disappointing was my answer.
