Well known BBQ here in Bourbonnais. Decent BBQ. Ordered the rib tips and Maxwell polish. Both were good. Had them a few times so I had to leave a review!

Today I had a full rack of ribs, it’s the Friday special. Loved it, very good ribs, it came with two sides I had the BBQ beans and the coleslaw, too many ribs for me. I took 1/3 home.
Ok today is another Friday and I did the full slab special again with the BBQ baked beans and this time I had the potato salad . Took some home again, this time it was three ribs. Ate one more than last time, I’m really full this time.
Yet another Friday, today I tried the half chicken it was very good.
I also tried the Hot Dog with chili, excellent.
Oh my I must come here on Friday’s only… I’ll Need to fix that.
Today I had the special of the month of Sept. BBQ pork sandwich. So good!
End of Oct, today I had the Carolina Pulled Pork sandwich as you can see it’s my favorite I have it almost everytime I’m here.

Today I ordered the chicken, bbq Pork and Rib combo w two sides and a cup of the chili. Am tasted great as usual.

It’s definitely 5 Stars overall. Only reason food got 4 stars is I’m very picky about sides with BBQ. The meat however was all cooked and seasoned perfectly especially the ribs.

Best BBQ around! The atmosphere is definitely nothing fancy, but it’s on-par with most BBQ joints. So so good!! They offer dine-in, take out, and catering.

We heard that they had a giant loaded baked potato special and it was a done deal that we had to try it. I am a picky eater when it comes to meat so I was happy to know that there was a turkey option for a potato topping!! My husband had a pulled pork sandwich with a brisket loaded potato and the spicy BBQ sauce, while I had a simple garden salad and their ‘Sweet Chicago’ sauce. I was very happy with my food, as it was just the right amount and no leftovers to take home. The price was decent for the two of us. As a big fan of baked potatoes its nice to have this option locally available. I will have to return and try their ‘award winning’ chili sometime.

Great tasting smoked bbq. I had brisket dinner with chili, she had the rib tips and beans. Food was served quickly and hot. Pleasant atmosphere and clean overall.

This place is by far not up to par like it used to be the food was dry overcooked as well as the fact that there was more chatting going on between the employees then there was worried about if the customers are happy and satisfied I went there when they first opened and they were delicious and well done and juicy and straight up falling off the bone now Jimmy Joe’s BBQ has gone practically downhill the atmosphere is not what it used to be

I had Jimmy Joes cater my father’s celebration of life this past Saturday. We had 25 guests and all everyone could talk about was how good the barbecue was. I couldn’t be happier about the job Jimmy Joes did catering this event for me.
