The salads here are very tasty! I like that you can customize and that there is such a good range of healthy options.

Some things as suggestions: the tables are all wobbly. Its hard to eat and my water kept almost spilling. The floor and tables are also usually dirty (although clean today). Its very off putting to have to clean up somebody elses food and to see the food on the floor around you. Lastly because the bread is precut, its stale. Im sure its fresh daily but cutting in the AM means by the PM its a bit hard and not as good to eat. I wish the cafes were a bit better tended to. Its also annoying that you have to ask for a cup for water likes its school or something! The water filter needs to be changed, the water tastes like a pool.

Anyway, other than the above, its great

Love the Harvest bowl. It is healthy and filling. My partner tried the Honey chicken and enjoyed it. We requested for some extra sauce and were helped immediately. Small seating area inside but overall a good experince. Recommend both for dine-in as well as takeout.

Sweetgreen is next to the Trader Joe’s that we shop at. We have driven by Sweetgreen many times as we come and go from Trader Joe’s, so we finally decided to give it a try !!!

Here is the verdict:
Customer service was great, we ordered the “Caramelized Garlic Steak” and the “Miso Glazed Salmon”. We both had wild rice and white rice

The garlic steak was good and tender.
The salmon was ok, I noticed they pulled the small salmon piece from the buffet style tray instead of freshly cooking it. That was a big turn-off for me.
We tried the “Ripple Fries” but decided not to order it.

Overall, it’s not too bad, but unfortunately for us, this was a “One-Time” stop. Next time, we would make that “20-minute” dash to the “Worldwrap” at the Mission College Mercado and buy their “Chimichurri Salmon plate”

Let me know what you think !!!

I wish I saw the reviews before but wow the service was horrible for the prices they’re charging. Got the harvest bowl and there were literally two tiny pieces of chicken in it. Barely any toppings, skimped on the base too. Won’t be coming back. The woman’s attitude was the worst part.. there was nobody else ordering behind me when I went but she was rushing so fast and staring at me with a frown. This isn’t a cheap food stand so I’m surprised. Better to honestly just get the salads at Trader Joe’s or make your own. I had to ask her to add the bread too. Don’t know why she was being cheap with me for no reason. I saw the other workers filled up more but they also had such a nasty presence and speak zero English which isn’t appropriate for customer service jobs.

Harvest Bowl was Heavy on the Kale. It taste super healthy, just missing more tang. I wish it had more Apple (pretty light on Apples). The Basalmic was Ok, maybe tiny bit salty so I put less Basalmic. I wish this salad had a tiny bit Iceberg or some type of lettuce since so heavy on the Kale. Overall taste Super Healthy but I think some of the dressings are salty which cause me to put less dressing. I wish Sweet Green offer just a regular Vinegar & Oil ( like italian dressing). I ordered Guacamole Greens for Dad ( comes with Chicken). It seem to be more delicious with Avocado, Tomato, Pickled Onion, Shred Cabbage, Tortilla Chips, & most yummy was Romaine plus Spring Mix. I was not sure I liked the Lime Cilantro Dressing but other people might like it ( maybe just need more lime or some type of tang) so I got the Apple Vinegarette which might have needed more tang. It had a layer of Oily stuff on top maybe heavy on Oil, just needed more Vinegarette. So the guy gave me extra other sauces. He gave me one extra Miso (Ok, but all dressings need some type of tang). And I used the basalmic for my Dad’s Guacamole since he did not seem to like the Oily Apple Vinegarette. Again, the dressings just need a plain old fashioned Italian ( even need the type you get from store). The guy seem to be service the front all by himself. He did a great job, but maybe he need a little help ( dont know) He did let me try the Cilantro Lime Dressing. Overall, to improve the food ( maybe i forgot to try Green Goddess and i should have tried that) we just need one more dressing. One dressing like some regular Italian with lots of Vinegar & one slightly sweet dressing. The Basalmic that came with the Harvest just seem slightly salty and I dont remember normal Balsamic being salty ( I need to eat more Salad in my life so I dont know if I am the best judge of all Salads) The Harvest Salad just needed more tang or just more apples or something. They do have variety of Juice Lemonade, Hibiscus, Apple Pomegranate, & some type of Green Kale juice which taste very gingery. I got plain Apple Juice for Dad ( the cheapest) but not sugary enough. It had a refreshing apple flavour but was kid’s juice that had less sugar.

Visited with my friend for dinner. The food tasted good, however I had GI issues afterwards – maybe from the dressing or from the marinated and fried tofu? The staff was nice, however probably so busy that they couldn’t take care of the cleaning. We had to remove the food pieces from previous guests and wipe down the table to be able to eat without getting our sleeves dirty. Every table had food leftovers…

Healthy quick lunch and dinner spot in bustling downtown Sunnyvale next to Trader Joe’s and other shopping venues. This place focuses on healthy bowls and salads that have generous servings and fresh ingredients. The hot honey chicken bowl and basically all their salads are expertly designed and always fresh.

We always leave this spot feeling full and happy without being overly heavy and tired like you would feel after eating a cheeseburger somewhere else. They have other healthy drinks such as kombucha and teas!

Be aware that this place is highly popular and located in a popular area. This means that you are likely to wait in line for a bit. The wait has never been more than 10 minutes though! The service is fast and you order and get everything at the counter before you sit!

Definitely recommended if you’re looking for a healthy lunch option at a decent price. Expect to spend around $15+ per person.

We’ve wanted to try Sweetgreen for a while and they certainly don’t disappoint. I got a custom bowl and the produce is fresh and ethically sourced. They also display their thorough cleaning process of all produce in the open kitchen so you can see/verify how diligent they take care of everything while you order. Sweetgreen also cooks all proteins using only extra virgin olive oil and/or avocado oil.

If you’re a healthy foodie like I am, these processes and details in food prep are important.

I wish I would’ve taken a picture before we started eating but it was so yummy I couldn’t wait! Definitely coming back here again.

Tried the Shroomami with spicy cashew and lemon vinaigrette.
The taste was really good—definitely one of the better spots to try vegan salads. However, the kale portion felt a bit too much and overpowered the rest of the flavors. A little balance would make it even better!

I have ordered sweetgreen more than 30 times from New York to California. I was always a fan but now I change my mind due to the recent order on Oct 21 in Sunnyvale store.

I was intended to pick up my Miso Salmon bowl on 12:15pm, so I placed the order in advance, but my team at work suggested to have lunch together so I didn’t pick up my order on time. What I think at that time was picking up late should be fine, as food only goes cold or not fresh but will not disappear. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the store in Sunnyvale at 1:40pm, my meal was not on the rack.

I turned to the store assistant and asked about the issue. I showed her the order number and she responded in a it reluctant tone that “We can redo it for you but One Time Only”. She felt not sorry for my order being took by other people and sounds like i should feel bad, but Why? I don’t understand how sweetgreen trained the employees to handle this situation. As I said, if I picked up 1.5 hours late, the food goes cold, but should not disappear.

It’s okay if sweetgreen doesn’t have arranged anyone to supervise the pickup line. But this is based on sweetgreen’s trust in customer and should be responsible if any loss caused by this. I have ordered from sweetgreen since 2023 and most of them are delivery or pick up orders. This is the first time I realized how bad their in-store service is. Even a small unexpected situation can turn into a worse experience.
