We’re a casual Japanese ramen restaurant and bar located in Helena, Montana. We offer a wide variety of authentic Japanese ramen dishes in a full service dining room and bar, and we also offer carry-out if you’re short on time. All of our food is prepared fresh to order with only the finest and freshest ingredients, and we work very hard to give you an amazing food experience. Our specialties are the Tantanmen, the Spicy Beef Ramen, Gyoza (potstickers), and the Bozeman Roll. Our menu is definitely something different than the typical corporate burgers and steaks, we truly offer a dining experience. We hope to see you soon and become your new favorite restaurant.

We come eat here at least once a month, our experience and the service is usually top notch yet two different times now we have received food which is has been burnt.
I eat vegetarian so I don’t have any issue but my son said this is the second time they burnt his food. We will continue to come but this needed addressed we thought. Thanks

The food is absolutely fantastic! This ramen house is tucked away and is seriously a hidden gem! The meals are filling and absolutely worth the price. We all took leftovers home and got a second meal out of it.

I came here for dinner a few weeks ago and was slightly underwhelmed. Granted I have eaten at a lot of ramen places across the country, but I wasn’t really impressed. The ramen lacked flavor but had good noodles, and the meat was slightly tough, but the service was great. We had a very friendly waitress, I apologize for not getting her name. The crab Rangoon’s were great I will say. Probably won’t come back but it is a great spot for someone just getting into ramen.

I am happy to discover that the establishment uses authentic ramen noodles. Other ramen shops from Salt Lake City to Twin Falls have been passing off “instant noodles” in their ramen dishes.
Today, I had the spicy beef ramen. I requested level 3 (maximum), but the chef does not use spice powder, hot oil, and habanero past in the dish. The chef made an exception for me and gave me a spicy beef level 3.
The restroom is very clean.
Not only was there thinly sliced beef, there was a whole beef rib, soft and succulent still on the bone. It just peeled away, it was that soft. This is tops in all of Idaho, Utah and Oregon.
There is ample parking. For largest vehicles, there is plenty of space by the Tesla Supercharging station between the Idahoan Building housing Wells Fargo Financing Advisors and the shop facility for Guns & Gears of Idaho.

I had their signature boba, which was full of way too much powder milk. I asked the first waiter, who was not serving us, and she said “I didn’t make it” and walked away, than they confirmed just that drink doesn’t taste good, but they were making it correctly. Than the food came out and there was so much sauce on it, it tasted horrible. We left the full drink and food.

Very, and I mean VERY, yummy. Service was great. Food was delicious. And they have fun Japanese sodas and they even have boba, too! They also have lots of traditional Japanese art. I’m very impressed with this place. Super fun yet calm. Five star for sure.

Having lived in Japan, it is a treat to have authentic Japanese food this close to home. My wife and I often get the Spicy Tantanmen. It has a soft flavor, and the eggs were cooked to perfection.
Heads up, the bok choy has been replaced with broccoli due to costs. The server that we had was very friendly and engaging. Overall, Hokkaido is one place to not miss when coming through town.

I come in to eat Sunday night February 8. Im a single man so I always eat at the bar top at any restaurant as its usaly available. I walked in and sat at the bar top to have a little aggressive blue haired girl come up to my and start to scold me for not waiting at the door to be seated. I defended my self by saying I always sit at the bar at every restaurant I ever go to so I just assumed it was ok and it was my bad. She continued to scold, me telling me that’s not how things work here because she still has to get me silverware and a menu and its really inconvenient to have someone just walk in so confidently. She continued by telling me there’s a certain was people are to be sat to make things fair and I need to fallow the rules. I was flabbergasted as there was only 3 other customers in the whole restaurant. I have always gone to the one in Ammon because this Idaho Falls location has always unpleasant people working there, and I guess it just continues. I have worked in restaurant for decades and I have never been treated like this by an employee. I will never go back. Its so sad because Idaho Falls need a good Ramon house but the two girls working there were entitled bulls with no understanding of customer service.
